What was the condition of Dora of Fate again? I know it had something to do with selecting a monster on your opponent's side of the field, and then when you summon a monster the next turn with level equal to 1 less than the selected monster, deal damage to your opponent equal to the level of the selected monster x 500 lps.
So you put Lava Golem on their side of the field, activate Dora of Fate during their endphase (?), and normal summon Fusilier at 1400 ATK next turn for 8x 500 = 4000 damage.... HAHAHA I love it.
Suggestions... geez, not really that easy. Why are the Hiro's Shadow Scouts in there? They aren't of a particularly special level are they? I can't imagine that you would want to try decking the opponent out.
I recommend:
-2x Hiro's Shadow Scout
+2x Stealth Bird
-2x Mass Driver
+1x Swords of Revealing Light
+1x Premature Burial (Fusiliers, Stealth, Lacooda)
-2x Desert Sunlight
+1x Book of Moon
+1x Ceasefire
Dora of Fate
Normal Trap Card - Ancient Sanctuary You can only activate this card during your opponent's turn. Select 1 face-up monster on your opponent's side of the field. If you Normal Summon a monster during your next turn that is 1 level lower than the chosen monster, inflict damage to your opponent's Life Points equal to the level of the selected monster x 500.
Holy Crap!!! And I thought I was the only one to using that card....
I now have insane levels of respect for you man....That deck is so many levels of nutz, right now...I see the reasons for the Shadow Scouts (Dora vs. 4 star monsters) and Fusilier Dragons (Dora vs Lava Golem & other 8 star monsters) but I would actually drop 2 Fusilier Dragons for 2 Cannon Soldier simply because of the increase of Cyber Dragons being played...
9.1/10.....Tkwiget, that is crazy tech!!
Who knew Dora the Explorer was really a pyro.......

XDXDXD You're suggestions don't help at all. Swords of Revealing Light doesn't do me any good with all the stalling power I have. Stealth Bird isn't needed, I rather use Hiro's Shadow Scout to boost their hand size up to deal a ton of damage with Des Koala and Secret Barrel. Mass Driver's are there to drop Fusiliers into the Graveyard and to reshuffle them and other monsters back into the deck with Pot of Avarice... You clearly didn't even look further into the deck.
Desert Sunlight flips all my flip effect monsters face up and activates them all at once. Wow, didn't look into that one did you. Book of Moon is a worthy suggestion and Ceasefire just doesn't work. Remember, flip effect heavy.
They don't help, they don't help at all. Please try again.
phenom25, the only thing I'm worried about really is Mobius and Horus LV6. Not really a problem in my book considering Gravity Bind stops LV6.
But then again, the deck isn't meant for serious competitive play.
What can I say, other than, "Who do you think you are?" I was very complimentary of your deck, and offered suggestions. There was no reason to be disrespectful. You need to be taught a little lesson in manners.
I can justify the deck change choices that I've suggested, but in all honesty, you're not worth my time. I saw exactly what you were trying to accomplish. I'm telling you from experience that those aspects will not consistently work. If you're so closed-minded as to not thoroughly think through suggestions, then so be it. Be careful before you lose the respect people have for you. I'd venture to guess this extends beyond yugioh.
I did think through them and with my own level of experience -- as vast as it is -- know better than to consider such horrible ideas that I've already tried out before posting this deck even the first time.
I don't really have to be careful about anything. The respect of the people on Realms doesn't really concern me. If they find a deck interesting or they like it, most likely they'll post on that thread. That's the nature of how things work. There obviously are exceptions.
So you gave me some advice, I'll give you some.
It's the right of any person that posts a deck to reject any suggestions given to them. You can't accept your suggestions being rejected, then don't post on people's decks giving them advice.
You've never given me helpful suggestions in the past and you probably never will in the future. So don't bother posting on my deck threads if you truly have nothing to contribute to the deck and its development. So far, you haven't.
It is my personal opinion that your deck is too combo-heavy. For example, Hiro's Shadow scout, although it may give your opponent a 0-3 card larger hand which can later be exploited, you're giving your opponent more options. Since when has that been a good idea? Tkwiget, in your 'Vast Experience', I'm sure you've considered that elite duelists side in extra s/t removal for when they face stall decks. My point is that by forcing your opponent to draw cards, you are helping them draw that s/t removal. Stall decks are supposed to control the pace of the duel, and yours doesn't.
I took out the Hiros and the Desert Sunlights TOGETHER. Of course you wouldn't want to play Sunlights without Hiros in there too. With all of the stall you have, you can flip monsters f/u all day if you like. I did look into that one. You don't need sunlights.
Swords > any other stall in any deck because it is one-sided, no matter what the situation is. All of the others are two-sided. Did you think of that?
Stealth Birds are rinse-and-repeatable. With all of the stall in your deck, you'll get much more damage out of these than you would due to the Hiros, unless you're not confident in your decks stalling ability. For example, let's say that Hiro gives your opponent 3 cards in hand (no spells). That's 1200 more damage if Des Koala hits, and 600 more damage if Secret Barrel hits. That's 1800 more damage tops. Stealth Bird is practically a win condition on its own, forcing 1000lps down your opponent's throat per turn, and forcing them to react. It is a versatile and mathematically superior decision to run it over Hiro's.
Mass Driver... 400 lps is not very much. How many monsters do you think you're going to get out? As far as I can tell, you're going for the Tsukuyomi (and maybe Moon) re-use of your flip effects, never mind Lacooda and maybe Stealth Bird. So which monsters was it again that you'd be launching? I thought so... take it out.
Ceasefire is still a top-tier card when wielded correctly in a burn deck. Are you familiar with wielding it correctly? If so, then I'm sure you've realized the fact that you can activate it while your monsters (Lacooda, MoF, MoD, etc...) are flipped face-up. Of course you're not going to activate it early game and negate all your flip effects. If you had considered it more, you just might have realized that I know what I'm talking about. Your deck, which has great potential by the way, could do massive amounts of damage 1500-2000 quite easily. For a single card that I would rate similarly to ring of destruction for its utility, you are looking at a very versatile option.
Let's face it, decks that are too combo-heavy run a very high risk of failing. I have justified my choices, and I congratulate you on your creative build. It should perform more consistently with my suggestions. I would appreciate an apology. Good luck with your deck.
