I just found out today that my card shop is having a big tournament on new years eve. I really want to take this deck I built but I need some more ideas for it. Its totally untested so any advice will probably help. Please help me get that #1 spot guys!

Yeah, so what the deck is 45 cards. I work well with higher card amounts and this is just a rough daft of the deck. Any help will be greatly apprieciated. Give any suggestion and rate the deck and I will do the same in return. Please I need help now so don't be afraid to post anything.

Looks pretty good. The high card count doesn't matter as much when dealing with Dark World and the speed it can move at.

+1 Dark Necrofear

With The Strike Ninjas and 2 Bazoo left, you can spare the space and Necrofear can feed on the Fiends and give your opponent something to worry about attacking. The Creature Swaps are great if you get overmatched or even better to swap your Morphing Jar and attack it. Then you get the extra Dark World effects because MJ will have been your opponents card at the time of activation. You can really put the hurt on if you pull off the MJ Swap with 2 or 3 Goldds or Sillvas in your hand.

Maybe even thin out a few DW monsters and replace with a Soul Release and a Gren Maju or two. Gren Maju ATK goes up for cards RFG, it doesn't have to be just monsters. Gren Maju can be a big hitter in no time in this type of deck.

Try that, also you need m/t removeal. You'll get several Mass summons off your Deck and your deck with my corrections but your greatest enemy has to be your oppoents m/t. Thats their only defense most times during your turn. If you are able to remove that you can easly win the game.

Gren Maju and Dark Necrofear both have been on my mind for this deck but I just didn't really know what to take out. The drops and adds are:

-1 Gateway to Dark World
-1 Bazoo the Soul Eater

+1 Creature Swap
+1 Dark Necrofear

Gren Maju is deffinetly a side deck along with Soul Release.

Now what do you think of Skull Lair? Another of the confusing that I don't think should be in but want a second opinion.

I know what you mean about Skull Lair. I have been going back and forth on it for my Fiend/RFG deck. I haven't tried it yet, but it could be a replacement for Soul Release. Soul Release just RFGs 5 cards, Skull Lair could RFG 5 cards and take out a Cyber Dragon in the process. Tough call, becuase I have used Soul Release offensively to make sure some monsters don't come back from my opponents GY. I have a local tourny tonite and I think I will try Skull Lair instead of Soul Release. I will also try to update this post and let you know how it worked, but just in case I don't get back here, good luck tomorrow.

The side deck is built based on the mill and burn decks at my tournament. Also there is my friend Andy who uses 3 Sakuretsu Armor and 3 Widespread Ruin like I used to and thats why the Bait Doll is there. But I would still like some more advice on what to put in the side deck and main deck. Thanx and keep the ideas flowing.

Thanks for the post in my GY denial deck. I appreciate the assistance and the thought process explanation. Great minds think alike and all that. :cross-eye

Your side deck looks strong to counter your meta(I like the Bait Doll). My only concern would be your Tsuku. Are you planning on using her defensively, too?
You only have 3 Flip monsters to abuse in your main and side deck(although if you can pull it off the Tsuku/Morphing Jar combo and your DW combos, you can really start thumping even without the getting the secondary effects).

That's all I got, it looks real solid.

Ok, the tourny was cancelled but I managed to get one game(game, not match) in against another guy that was there. I got beat by an Exodia deck. Let's say that again, beat by an Exodia deck(nope, didn't sound any better the 2nd time). After I had put 2 pieces in the GY. And after drawing Skull Lair. All I could think is this game would be over if this was Soul Release instead. :(

Exodia decks are uncommon in this area and I got blind-sided by the unexpected in a single game. I believe I had the tools for a match, especially with Soul Release available. Just frustrating when the change you make gets exploited. Oh well, always next week I guess. :)

Sorry to hear about the Exodia expirence. Exodia is farily uncommon here too. With my luck somone will run one today against me. But I think Morphing Jar and Card Desruction will take care of that pretty quick if I dump the Exodia Head into the grave. Can't win without a good head on your shoulders you know. :p

Anyway thanx for posting multiple times and giving ideas I can use. If I have time I will talk to my friend Kaje who runs basically a grave denial deck and see if I can get some info on what works well. That is if I haven't covered everything already.

Also the torney may run a little late so I doubt I'll be able to post again today, but you can be sure to here how the deck did with the modifications.

Tsuku is used for flip effects and for the Dark World Lightnings. Some times the Lightnings need a little push so it helps...and the fact the Tsuku has 1100 and a bunch of monsters like Reflect Bounder have only 1000 defense.

Well the tornament is over and Dark World is again the supreme deck type. In other words I trashed the competition. And either I'm psychic or just lucky but my friend Patrick was actually running an Exodia deck from out of the blue. At the last minute I sidedecked in a Soul Release for the Mass Driver and is the reason the Exodia didn't destroy me. That and Morphing Jar.

As for the winnings of the tornament I put a box of Shadow of Infinity on hold so when it comes in I get an entire box of them. Hopefully I can pull Raveil, Lord of Phantasms for the Deck. Since it can only come out by tributing 3 friends its perfect for this deck.

As for this deck it will still be a choice of mine but for my deck I'm running next week I'll need a few of the cards. Basically all of the removal.

Thanx to all who posted. Especially MightyDingo. Thanx for giving support for the deck. The Skull Lair and Creature Swap both were great cards and helped me win in tough situations. Anyway keep a look out for my removal deck that I will post later this week, probably around tuesday. As for now so long.

And if anyone still has any ideas for a fresh look on this deck I'll be running this deck a ton in the future. But my style is to change decks every week so the normal competition can't build side decks for me! :p

Congrats on the tourny, It's good to be the King. RFG is my other main focus currently, so I will be waiting to see the new deck.
