Actually, I've teched it a few times and it's been good in making the opponent waste their Mobius, MST, Dust Tornado, etc. But it's not for every deck, sure, but it's something you could try out if you want.

Yeah I have a teammate in Cali. that techs in a jar of greed, I tell him that it doesn't provide advantage but he showed me how it could, like Half said you wait until your opponent uses a s/t removal and bam instant 2 for 1 but you have to be patient sometimes. BTW, Half over 9000 posts!!!!! Dang......and you have a job.
Team Scoops New Deck has 3 Jar of Greeds and 3 Time Seals for that reason.
Its a funny looking deck but it doesn't work. They tried it at Poughkeepsie NY regional.
And besides, most people nowadays talk about Dekoichi as if it were Pot of Greed, but chances are it won't be on the field that long for it to be any kind of advantage. More than likely, you're getting one draw out of Dekoichi, but it's still considered good. So then I'd also consider Jar of Greed good since you are getting 1 extra draw.
People don't even try to take advantage of Dekoichi's extra effect either...it's actually very good if you pull it off...I've tried it out with 3 Bokoichi's + The League of Uniform Nomenclature/Machine Duplication + Dark Factory of Mass Production and it's been fun, especially if you have 2 Dekoichi's set on your field already.
You'd get to draw 8 cards while also thinning out your deck by 2 (for the other 2 Bokoichi's) while only spending about half of that. Of course it can't be splashed into every decktype, but it's something I suggest trying out sometime for those who feel they have a DESPERATE need for draw power.

3 Time Seals and 3 Jar of Greed maybe at the most 3 of any, but 6 now thats over doing it. Even if the deck didn't work how far did Scoop make it with that deck?
time seals and jar of greeds are only good if your winning or if your opponent plays a m/t removal on it.. i used to main deck 2x time seal.. and it was funny when i would atk my opponent with spirit reaper and take there last card and play time seal.. there turn lasted about half a second.. sense they couldnt do anything:)
Many people don't use JoG because (1) it's a trap, which usually means for most, its too slow. It's not that bad, especially with Mobius running rampart.
I'm currently using Jar and Time Seal in my Phoenix deck. They are good bluffs, and possible 241 if chained. Then if I get Phoenix out, they don't go to waste.
I must agree JoG and TS are good cards. They are always a 1-1 and often a 2-1. Running 3 of each is just plain crazy but I think running 2 with several sakaratsu armors is good. They may or may not want to destroy your set S/T.
Any card capable of being a 2-1 is well worth trying out. It's better than Jar of Avarice.
Jar of Greed is okay. I've used it and it can work but it also can back fire.
My opinion is that Jar of Greed is helpful against m/t removal, and w/ 3 Jars chained w/ Reckless Greed, but I prefer Dekoichi
