Mobius the Frost Monarch...
when did it become so popular, why, and is it replacable?

These are all questions that have come ot me recently. I have looked at deck after deck and every where I look I see this card. I dont see Granmarg, Churion, or Zaborg (i think thats the ligfhtning one) but I always see Mobius. So please answer me this.

1) why is it so popular

2) What made it that way

3) Why cant it be replaced?

1. It is a 2 for 1 (and in the worst of the cases a 1 for 1), sure bet monster which will give you card advantage 90% of the time.

2. The overuse monstly.

3. It can be replaced by anything you want to replace it, there are no unreplaceble cards in this game. You just need to find a good replacement.

Thank you, I dont use it personally and I just feel that its becoming the new trend monster much like chaos monsters were/are.

Greenkappa works pretty good too, and you dont needa tribute cept it wont kill face up cards....

i like night assailent, useing two of those would be amazing.. its a lot like the spear cretin combo

They are limited to one so meh...... Greenkappa on other hand nets you +1 advantage , for you 141 freaks.

Most player i know usualy set 2 cards down incase of MST..

Well its all based on how comfortable your opponent is and how certain he is. When my friend duels me hewont set more than ne because he knows ill keep them locked up or destroyed where as i keep 2-4 becuase i have no fear of him taking outm y cards.

True, but also remember that Greenkappa has alot going for it

*Sangable
*tribute fodder for the phoenix you were afraid of playing cuz of BTH

True, but it all depends on who you play. Good card, but it all depends on your opponent's playstyle.

It would extremely effective in Fragrance control though.

2. Being in a top SJC deck, just like a lot of cards these days.

3. It can be...but people choose not cause of losing advantage and junk.
