Yet another deck by Agent Mage: Machines (this time with 20% more win!) r/fs returned
I'm trying this again, revised from today's tourniment. This is it ladies and gents, a cyber dragon-less machine deck. The ancient gear beasts were a valued part of the deck, and untill I can procure something to better it, it stays in at 2 for the time being.
How do you guys like it?

Update 2/16/2006: Its won a tourny, but with Valentines Day I havent been to my Tuesday Tourny, so I'l wait till friday to test it out again. Cyber Stein won me the majority of my games suprisingly enough, followed by limiter.
Also, the additions of the Dark Coffins have really helped stave off putting in that third Sak Armour, making Extermination slightly more viable. Also, I'm testing out the "3 linky 1 blinky" side deck I alaways wanted to make. Switching theems that drasticly against stall might give me a slight psych out advantage, which will help take away from my opponent being able to tell what I'm playing.
Maybe for a regionals, but for local play I'm sticking with avarace. In my area, only one person plays necrovalley (the infamous Keljar I keep mentioning) and everyone runs at least two dust tornados.
I'll try the fixes you posted kirby, save for taking out the Gear Soldier, you wouldnt belive how many times he's been on the board alone with my opponent glaring at his face down sakaretsus. I didnt notice that steamroid could do those things you said, so I'll give him a shot. Taking down those cyber dragons will be a pleasure.
Only 39 there because I took out a Chaser, Helping Patroll Robo, and Heavy Mech.
Mainly because if you go below 5000 then he's dead weight.

If you're in trouble, then only about three of the monsters in your deck are looking good for bringing back with Call (Jinzo, Exiled, maybe Reflect). Trap Hole and Time Seal are also good anti MObius cards.
mahine decks have always coveted cyber jar, fetch it with sangan. To get card advantage from it just try and wait things out and sparingly use cyber jar as you would dark hole or torrential tribute. cyber jars going down and you need to take as many opposing monsters with it. so it's good against lilly and cyber rush decks.
another thing I'd suggest is
-1 ancient gear soldier
-1 spirit reaper
+2 gear golem the moving fortress.
gear golem is invaluable to the modern machine deck. you'll be glad to have these over a tiny reaper.
How about giving roll out and a couple of heavy mech support platform. Good for keeping ancient gear golem on the field with HMSP effect and it a trap card so you can cain things with it .
OK.. kind of an odd suggestion here but hear me out: Covering Fire.
Ive seen this card utilized very well in machine decks before, the idea being that you use limiter removal followed by covering fire.. that starts adding up really fast.. even if you just have dekiochi and drillroid out imagine ur opponents shock when your once 1400 train turns into 2800 and then 5000.. thats enough to turn the tide and or finish him off.. i think its worth testing hope that helps
Yeah, Steamroids rock...One combo you can also use is Creature Swap+Steamroid. Given Stea,roid's ability of its attack going down by 500 when attacked, I always like summoning Steamroid,the Creature Swapping it for my oponent's Mobius,Jinzo,DMoC, etc. Aside from that, his Effect can also be used 2 lure opponents into attacking him--happened so many times with my opponents trying 2 attack him using DDA's and Cyber Dragons,and Don Zaloogs, knowing his ATK would drop to 1300 where all U hafta do is simply flip up a Limeter Removal, a Blast With Chain,or even a simple Rush Recklessly, and they end up losing their Monster, and given the Roids now high ATK (3600 if u use Limeter,2300 if U activated Blast,or 2500 for Rush) he/she will hafta use up a piece of Monster removal, and will also most likely end their battle phase as well.
Im iffy abt the Bounder as it so easily countered.
I've actualy been thinking about making the main deck a Cyber Dracostein (Cyber stein otk) and side deck into this if they think they've got my deck "figgured out" by siding in against OTK.
Also, I think stein is a geat asset to the deck. In all the duel's I played with the deck yesterday, stein helped me win nearly 60% of them. I was trying to find room for another!

That's really all I could think of, could you look at the deck in my sig, it really need help
