Heh... Forgot to mention the soul purpose of my deck. Thanks for catching that for me. Anyway, your theme seems to be all over the place... Try and streamline your monster/spell selection a little better. This will help in aquiring better opening hands.
First, Fiends never left. They have been honing their skills and strengthening their ranks.
Next, which direction are you going with the deck. Straight Necrofear build? I think the Strike Ninjas Moonangle added would work best in a Necrofear RFG build. I happen to really like Necrofear RFG, but I think squid is still one of the top dogs in this area. In the meantime, I will do what I can.
If you are going for Necrofear-Beatdown, the first thing you need to do is get rid of that Cyber Dragon. He is not needed here. Instead of going with the meta, put cards in that will beat it. Since everyone and their little brother is playing CD, you need something to beat it. Add a couple Goblin Elite Attack Forces or Giant Orcs to stop CD cold. You may also want to add a couple Dark Jeroid, he is a bit undervalued, but he can take down any monster up to 1900ATK and can suicide a 2000ATK. Plus his effect is very nice for taking out another current meta-favorite, Spirit Reaper. You probably also need a couple Mystic Tomatoes to get things rolling. As noted, another Newdoria would help the removal side of things.
That is about all I have time for right now. Gotta get back to work and all. Let us know if you decide to pursue the RFG angle. It is a lot of fun and Fiends do it very well.
On the other hand if your going for Fiend Control
Here who I would do it (keep in mind that these statements below are just my opinion when it come to fiend control):
First Monster Line-Up
+1 Necrofear (IMO 2 is great if your going for control)
+1 Dark Ruler Ha Des (The Ruler of all Fiends. Monster effect negation for all fiend when they destroy a monster in battle while he's face-up)
+1 Great Maju Garzett (If your going for control this guy is a must, his ATK is equal to 2X the ATK of the monster that was tributed for him, also since his DEF stays at 0 he pretty much immune to Smashing Ground )
+1 Newdoria (Field control, your opponent has something on the field that you dont like, suicide this guy)
+1 Goblin King (underestimated IMO, he get 1000ATK boost for every Fiend on the field and if there is another fiend on the field, he cant be attacked)
+2 Wall of Illusion (More Field control; I love setting this face-down and having my opponent slam something big into it.)
+2 Mystic Tomato (The Tomatoes will help you get a lot of monster on the field (Goblin King, Newdoria, Tomato, Sangan, Wall of Illusion)
+1 Slate Warrior (He's a nice BeatStick)
- Jinzo (id run 1 or 2 Royal Decree instead, also most decks only run about 5 to 6 Traps Tops)
- DMoC (I find him uselless in this kind of deck.
- Cyber Dragon (doesnt belong in this kind of deck)
- DDA
Next will do you Spell Cards
- UWS (the deck doesnt Replicate Fast enought to use this to it full potential)
-2 Giant Trunade (there isnt anything you really need to keep on the field)
- Confiscation (We are going with field control and not hand control)
+2 Creature Swap (great to combo with Scapegoat)
- Dark Hole (Id rather use Lightning Vortex, you can discard a Fiend for Necrofear and your monster are safe)
- Swords of Revealing Light (You dont need to stall with this deck)
So lets look at your Deck
And now Traps
- Torrential Tribute (again you want to keep your field full of monsters)
-2 Sakuretsu (myself I prefer to use Treatening Roar since it is chainable and Sakuretsu isnt)
+2 Royal Decree (better then Jinzo since you can surprise your oppenent with it)
+2 Dust Tornado (can be activated at the end of your opponnts turn to destroy that card he just set)
Now lets look at your deck
~~MONSTERS~~ <20>
2 Dark Necrofear
1 Dark Ruler Ha Des
1 Great Maju Garzett
3 Giant Germ
2 Newdoria
1 Cyber Jar
1 Sangan
1 Goblin King
2 Wall of Illusion
3 Slate Warrior
2 Mystic Tomato
1 Magician of Faith
Nice additions, D_Hunter. I might make a tweak here or there, but that would be just due to personal preference and not because of any inherent weakness. Thank you for remembering to take out DMoC, I omitted that part in my post. GMG is a nice addition and can be a real big hitter in this deck, especially if he decides to keep a couple GEAF or Giant Orcs. The Creature Swaps also work well with the Giant Orcs.
2 Dark Necrofear
3 Giant Germ
1 Cyber Jar 2 Newdoria
1 Sangan
1 Spirit Reaper
1 Magician of Faith 1 Dark Ruler Ha Des
1 DDA
2 Slate Warrior 2 Dark Jeriod
1 UWS
1 Mystical Space Typhoon
2 Brain Control
1 Premature Burial
1 Dark Hole
1 Snatch Steal
1 Heavy Storm
1 NoC
1 Swords of Revealing Light
2 Giant Trunade 1 Enemy Controller
2 Smashing Ground
1 Scapegoat
1 Bark of the Dark Ruler
2 Sakuretsu Armor
2 Bottomless Trap Hole
1 Call of the Haunte
1 Torrential Tribute
WHAT DO YO THINK??
There you go!!!This should help a lot!!!BTW:You can't really have a fiend deck without the master of the fiends(dark ruler ha des).Tell me if you have any problems but it looks good!
rating:8/10
on tcgplayer.com , i was known as the master of minions but i long since gave up that title to ...i guess you can say my protagy(ya, so spelled wrong) because it just wasnt fun, so now i am getting back into fiends, and to all, this is more aggro to the extreme thus explaining the brain controls. as for the other cards, i will take out the 2 slate, cyber dragon, and add in 2 GEAF, and a tomato. usually i go for a different fiend deck that consists of two dark necrofear, but times have changed,
this deck is more control than fiends but in the future i might very well consider taking out a reaper and adding in another DN.
thank you all so much for your help, i will try my very best to get to all your decks as soon as i possibly can.
