Okay this is my deck idea, you know that new card that came out in shadow of infinity, Chainsaw Insect? Well you should! With such overwelming atack of 2400 and no sacs it is amazing, but ithas a bad aftertaste. When he is "attacked" or "attacks" it gives your opponent one more card from the top of his deck :surprised . This card would easily be overlooked as ''bad.''
But wait :cool: ! There is more then just bad qualitys to Chainsaw Insect :tired: . This may or may not be apparent to you but this card works well with many other cards. One of these cards is Appropriate, this card is never used, and I say why not? Appropriate, to put it simply, does this: If your opponent draws out of his drawphase then you get two cards. So for those of you who have trouble keeping up, think of it this way: you have one Chainsaw Insect and 3 Appropriates on the feild. When you attack, even if it is killed by sakuretcu armor or something, your opponent draws 1 card, but you draw 6 :sleep: . There are other cards that would prevent drawing any cards, though i wouldn't main deck these cards i would still side them. But think about it again, think of not only the Chainsaw Insect and its various combos but think about all the draw power that was brought into the game. to name just a few of the most used. To name just a few: Pot of Avarice, Graceful Charity, Deikoichi, Reload, and the list goes on :p .

could work well with hiro's shadow scout, bistro butcher, and even silent magician. I was thinking of this before but i dont think it has enuf support.

Yeah i was thinking the same thing but, i mean come on this deck would be so unexpected and would most likely kill people at a tournament if they don't know what to do against the deck. The most they could do is side deck a Appropriate of there own, which like i said, noone uses. :P

you're rite. it would be unexpected. If they do have an appropriate thou it would be an infinite loop and one person will deckout 1st. >.<

one thing about your chainsaw bug thoughts, if someone sakuretsu's it, your opponent dosn't draw a card, because it didn't battle the monster

Also, Appropriate doesn't draw you cards the first time your opponent draws a card outside their draw phase.

If you are intent on running Appropriate, though, here's the engine I ran before coming across the errata:

3 Chainsaw Insect
1 Morphing Jar

3 Dragged Down into the Grave
1 Card Destruction

3 Appropriate

if it is sakuretsu armored, it dies befor it battles the monster, which means it dosn't battle the monster, and it dosn't allow your opponent to draw.

but for your deck, the best cards for an insect deck would be the ultimate insects lv 3,5, and 7

I think Skill Drain would combe better with this card. But I am loving the new insects.

Yeah the new insects will be rocking Yu-Gi-Oh soon. I already have different combos to deal with such pests like skill drain, and they are called nobleman of extermination, mystical space typhoon, mobius, and dust tornado :P

But seriously would you post some more ideas for my deck? Even for a Scooby Snack ;)

nobleman of extermination doesnt do anything to skill drain if the card is chained it is no longer face down and therefore it is not destroyed.

also appropriate doesnt chain to appropriate. it was ruled on UDE.

Okay, well, how about a whole box of Scooby Snacks, now wut do i get? :nervous:

This is how i plan this deck to look like so far it has a record of 8-0 and I am proud of it now ;)
