Okay, I've been playing with this deck since the last ban list came out. I love it. Its so much fun and it wins alot. Ever since the last ban Royal Decree has been dropped from most side decks and even Jinzo is seeing less play. Just putting out there, a well built one might be able to take a regional's top 8. The problem is that a large part of it is luck. Anyway, who loves/hates these decks??
BTW a Spatial Lock deck is a deck which focuses on Spatial Collape, which limits yoru opponents field, then either stalls or slow burns the opponent. Most of the time it can get off a total lock or a partial lock. Even a partial lock usualy means game beacause it often can't be stopped. A total lock means game, always.
Discussed various times in various threads....the "best" Spatial Collapse lock is Ojama Trio x2 (killing 1 token to make room for the 2nd use) + Spatial Collapse + Wave-Motion Cannon.
I have to dissagree. WMC has never been successful in any SL deck I played. It always ends up being a space wasted. Still, my deck just jumps into the lock, it either will partial lock or total lock over the first few turns.
....it's VERY successful in the lock I mentioned considering there's absolutely nothing the opponent can do once it's done....they won't be able to activate or play anything from their hand since they'd have 5 "CardS" on their field, meaning no way to get rid of the Wave-Motion Cannon while it builds up for a few turns.
even then, trying to get that type of combo off is very difficult. Don't get me mistaken, I use the 5 ojamas then spatial lock if I can and whenever I can, but it is too unreliable to make a deck purely on that arrangment. Then when you add in other cards that help to get that same goal, WMC is very hard to use. Its a stealth bird thats a magic card, and unfortunately most of the time your m/t spaces in a deck like it will be full. Ojama is a key card in it though, but what I'm saying is that its just so hard to make a deck purely based on that combo, just because it is so hard to pull.
Er ... Ojama + Lava Golem + Ojama = complete lock. Cry more ?
Actually, the opponent will still have space for 1 more card (3 - 2 = 1 Lava Golem + 3 more tokens = 4 "cards" on the opponent's field unless they already have stuff down).

3 tokens. -2 tokens +1 Lava Golem = 2 on field. 3 more tokens = 5 on field.
Miscounted the other token. Throw in a Wall of Revealing Light and Mask of Restrict then so you can at least prevent them from attacking or Tributing it off (which is why I prefer 5 Ojama Tokens. Harder to Tribute off since there's not many cards widely used requiring tributes for a cost)
I usually mix and match them (Final Countdown working while Wave-Motion Cannon builds up and the opponent is on the verge of getting locked with Spatial Collapse. Fun, fun =P
