Changing the list twice a year isn't cutting it, frankly. This April, I saw the list, and came to the conclusion that the meta wasn't going anywhere new for awhile. Perhaps mainly because we are forced to use Japan's list, which fails to address the American metagame. But that is another rant entirely. I am really not looking forward to looking forward to October, which is still over three months away.

Being stuck in this list for 6 months has made me return to a previous conclusion:
The list should be updated every 4 months, which totals three times a year (not too much stress on your R&D staff, I hope!). We, as duelists, need consistent and constant metagame refreshing to truly thrive. I would like to see a CC-theme last only 4 months before being replaced. I, like most duelists, love updating their decks for the Ban List. It is akin to a small holiday, removing the abused cards we have grown tired of using from our decks, and then replacing them with old friends from the Forbidden or Limited list. It is truly a great feeling, as a player, to be given a new scenario and to try and figure out how to make the best deck you can from it. It is also satisfying to see certain cards put out to pasture once they've overstayed their welcome.

I really don't know what else to say; the players of this card game need more frequent Forbidden/Limited list updates to maintain interest.
