If I have Non-Spellcasting Area on the field, and I summon a monster with Silent Dead, does Silent Dead's non-attacking effect still apply, or does it get negated?

The monster that is Special Summoned, obviously being Normal, would be unaffected by any of the effects of all Magic Cards thanks to Non-Spellcasting Area. Since not being able to attack is an effect...it's unaffected.

Cool. It'll end up derailing my plans for Delta Attacker, but that's alright, I guess.

Yeah...but then again...bring it out...break the connection with Silent Dead with Non-Spellcasting Area...then get rid of it with Hurricane or Tempest or something...free them up.

Meh, but then again, that'd take a few cards as well.
