Well, I searched and couldn't find a place this question was asked before, though I'm suprised it hasn't been.
Does Kycoo the Ghost Destroyer negate D.D. Assailant's effect?
Let's say Kycoo has attacked and destroyed DDA. DDA is in the graveyard at the time of activation, and its effect would remove itself from the graveyard. Kycoo stops cards from being removed from the graveyard by my opponent's card effects. So D.D. Assailant would be negated, correct?

Ah, I see where the problem lies.
"D.D. Assailant"'s effect activates and resolves while it is still on the field (although at this point, it is 'considered to be destroyed'), so Kycoo's effect doesn't stop it from resolving properly at all.
What has been stated by the last three is true, and probably the most up to date answer you can get. Since the question is answered, I will be closing the thread.
