This is my idea for a Water Skill Drain Deck that uses absalutly no water monsters. The plane is to use a Skill Drain type deck and DNA Transplant and DNA Surgery to control the field in a way faverable to me. I have the monsters and some of the S/T cards picked out, But need help with the rest of the deck.
So here it is.
Monsters (20)
3 Destiny Hero - Defender
3 Fusilier Dragon, The Dual-Mode Beast
3 Goblin Attack Force
2 Giant Kozaky
3 Giant Orc
3 Indomitable Fighter Lei Lei
3 Zombyra The Dark
Spells (10)
2 A Legendary Ocean
1 Bait Doll
2 Creature Swap
2 Giant Trunade
1 Heavy Storm
1 Level Limit - Area B
1 Premature Burial
Traps(10)
2 DNA Transplant
1 Call Of The Haunted
1 Gravity Bind
2 Needle Wall
2 Skill Drain
2 Xing Zhen Hu
Side Deck (15)
2 Big Bang Shot
2 Big March Of The Animales
1 Deck Devastation Virus
2 DNA Sergury
1 Dragon's Bead
1 Dragon's Rage
2 Dust Tornado/Hammer Shot
2 Magic Jammer
2 Trap Jammer
Skill Drain will not negate Armor Exe's cost to stay on the field. If you are trying to utilize ALO then Gravity Bind and LLAB need to be in here. Some Spear Dragons or Zombyras would be nice too.
So, let me get this straight: You are planning to use ALO + DNA Transplant to make your level 4 beatsticks level 3, so that they are unaffected by LLAB and G-Bind, while using Skill Drain to counteract their harmful effects?
That's a pretty creative idea. However, since ALO is a field spell, and DNA Transplant/ Surgery affect both sides of the field, won't your opponent benefit also? I'm not trying to be mean, but it sounds like you are crafting a lengthy combo that will only stop your opponent's level 5 and up monsters from attacking (in which case, Mask of Restrict is a much better card to use that will cut down on the combos).
It is from this point that I see a massive split in strategy: either go with ALO Beatdown including Skill Drain, or go with Skill Drain Beatdown period.
Azraelramses: To avoid this becoming a strategy descusion I'll directe you to the strategy and tactics forum, sub-forum: dirt from water. And thanks for thesuggestions.
