I've been wanted to do an allied forces deck since a few of my friends built one...I just wanted to make a good one...so here it is, ready for your criticism:

Deck is testing really really good. All the strong points of the shinobi deck..only with several characters that are much better than the shinobis. M2 is a solid choice for the 4th slot, because he can pretty quickly end the match, discarding spiked clubs and whatnot. Well, let me know what you think about it.


Tournament Report w/ Sarayashki deck (see my previous post for list);

Went into the tournament and forgot to make the changes I wanted to make before hand...oh well i guess.

Round 1. Dollar General Rokuyukai
A really nice player...but a fairly bad deck. I've been tryin to help him build storng decks out of his cardpool, and hook him up with extras and stuff, and he put up a pretty good fight... but still won 3 matches straight without much problem.
Did my standard "i'm calling you out" and let a super-studied kayko win all my matches.

Round 2. Allied Forces.dec
A friend of mine from work with his allied forces deck (the one i'm copying). Made a dumb mistake and forgot to halt allied forces...but still managed to pull it out. He ran Latent Warrior, Yoko, M2, Karasu (st) and unleashed just for fyi.

Round 3. Really Big Ichigaki Deck
I was doing fine the whole game...i thought. Did a tad too much studying with kayko and too much agility i guess...because into match 4 i had about 6 cards left in my deck...had i drawn an unconsious... within the top 4 cards of my deck, i woulda been able to double twice (had match done in my head) with jin for the win....but it didn't work out. Oh well.

Top 4 - Allied Forces.dec...different one
Had to deal with allied forces again. This one wasn't too bad. He played Yoko, Chu (uber set 1), unleashed, genkai, and one other character i can't remember. I think i unconsioused into a forced match 5 win...but i don't really remember.

Finals - Allied Forces..again
The one I played earlier in swiss. Did well tho. Was closer than it was in swiss. he was up 2 matches on me in the 4th, and i forlorn hoped for jin, and won that match...right after he just played microphone...ouch.

Was fun, pulled lots of acid blasts out of my tourny packs.

do you have a yusuke unleashed to put in your 5th match slot?

My problem with Yusuke unleashed is that he is only great as a 5th character...and with everyone running 2x i'm callin you outs now...no "only good when a 5th character" cards are as good as they used to be. I've considered it, but I consider Jin a better choice simply because of his "i can do 4 points of damage in one turn" attack...which is really solid. Unleashed is a great card, no doubt, but I've had bad luck with him...and Jin has one every match he's been in for me :). Thanks for the post.

ok, that's cool, do you by chance have a Genkai, the young?

yeah, i've collected the set of both the base set, dt, and the tournament sets 1 and 2. I have a pretty thorough cardpool :). I'd consider genkai, the young, but genkai, young fighter is alot better, and a very good 2nd character incase my yoko/wind shinobi lock dosn't go as planned.

ok cool, I've never really read Genkai, Young Fighter's attacks, so I didn't know:)
