if i m up against a shinobi team, and i go first. when i try to attack his sideline characters what happens?? because they are all face down and i cannot tell who i m attacking and what their def are.

You have to attack the character first, and then you see the defense, you dont get to see before you attack. That's what I've been told all the time anyways.

You decide which character you want to attack then that character gets flipped up so its Defense is revealed. That character then stays face up for the remander of the game
