hmmm, ive been look at cards that are slayers, and the ones i saw are all darkness cards. is it always gonna be that way? or is there gonna be like slayers that are light civilization? i was just wonderin bout that. cuz that would just be cool!

hmm maybe the gladiators or rainbow phantoms will be slayers..........

well each civ. has special powers that only that civ. has. so far that is
light= tap cards/untap cards
darkness=discard/slayer
water=drawing/unblockable
nature=mana rush
fire=rush/ attack utapped players

slayer seems to fit so beautifully with Darkness civ. It would be nice if in the future a slayer-ish deck could be made that performs well.

Actually, some civs tend to moonlight at jobs associated with other civs every once in a while. Water has the tap spell Virtual Tripwire (which I have never seen played in a deck), Light has the draw card Magris and the unblockable Ethel, and Darkness has the bounce effect card Gigastand. I guess that's a trade-off for the new abilities that Nature and Fire civ got in the form of Mana Destruction.

In the new japanese set there is a Darkness/Water unblockable slayer (See Ryoma's translation topics in the Rumor Thread). I think that's the closest we'll get to a slayer of a color other than black.

An unblockable slayer is an oxymoron... if you can't block the slayer than the only thing he'd be good for is kamikaze's against tapped creatures... unless he too is a blocker... is that what the future holds???

I'll keep my Creeping Plagues in the deck box just in case...

Isn't kamakaze attacking the whole point of Slayer? Plus he can hit shields and force your opponent to lose a creature to get rid of it. If you want it just to kill off blockers you're better off with Creeping Plague and Critical Blade. A Slayer with Blocker would be pretty cool though.

kamazaieing with slayers or attacking shields is the only useful way to use them, now a blocker/slayer would be nice....

Well, I think that s;ayer is awesome..for me, I won a duel against a kid that had a gran gure, and a Ladia Bale..and I beat it with bone assasin!!!So yes..I think there are going to be slayers in the water, because I saw a half blue/half black slayer/unblockable which my friend had(in Japanese).
