Some people run Ladia Bale and Gran Gure in the same deck, but they cost the same and people say thats good, but running Boltail Dragon and Uberdragon isnt. i dont get that because Boltail and Uber cost the same (7) and Ladia amd Gran Gure cost the same (6). Can yall understand where i am coming from?
Its just that fire does not have the time to wait 7 turns to get out those kind of fatties on the board, while light has many weak and mediocre blockers that do pretty well in stalling. Also, i dont like put cards that cost more than 6 mana in my deck, unless they have a totally killer mass removal or someting of the sort, like Vampire silphy. But that is just me, it might differ with others.
We understand. It's just that Fire's strongest aspect is it's speed, so we focus on that and don't worry too much about the huge fatties that usually get smoked or pitted a turn after they hit the field before they can cause some real damage.
Actually, running Boltail and UberDragon is pretty bad in itself. I almost never run any creatures with more than 4000 power unless they are evolutions.

Ladia Bale is there for offence while Gran Gure is there for defence because Ladia Bale can only do 1 thing at a time. But for fire deck it's different, Armored Dragon deck is not even good right now and Uberdragon is as bad as Balbaro, if you really want to show off by summoning it, just put in some Bolshack Dragon (or Bolzard Dragon) since they are the cheapest Armored Dragon we have for now.
I run Bale, and Gran Gure in the same deck. They both work well together, and as for Armored dragons uberdragon at times just costs too much to summon. So far, Bolshack has been the best Armored dragon in the game......so far. Until the next couple of sets where they will just start a new race called just "Dragons".
That'd be interesting. I prefer to ride easily on cards like 'Armored Cannon Balbaro' coupled with 'Armored Blaster Valdios', who boosts him to 6000 power, now just imagine how much damage I could do with Boltail and Jabaha in the battle zone?
And if you do make it that far into the game, you're basically screwed anyway, right?
Fire's strength is being able to win within just a few turns, and your biggest support would be Valdios. Why on earth would you summon Boltail Dragon anyway? He is way too slow to use in a deck that relies on getting a fast win.
That is the major problem cgman; it is either a fast win or a total loss. Fire runs out of steam pretty quickly and if the control player sets up pretty much the fire player is in for a rough ride; and that is not withstand Blocker decks which basically stops rush decks in their tracks from the starting gate. The addition of bigger/higher cast creatures like Metalwing and Scarlet as an example help to off set some of the relative weakness in Fire's tempo. Metalwing I believe is a better fit than say Botail since it is a double breaker as well but you can work around the meta in terms of blockers. There isn't really anything good about uberdragon since there isn't a decent evo base for it. You are better off using Garkargo or metalwing in combination or alone in terms of flexibility.
