Calling Units, We've Struck the Core!

Hmmm, I said to myself after thumbing through the CDIP cards and a couple striking my attention. How fun they look to play, but I really don't know where to start. Looking at several points of strength and valneraubility, I came to this. Please, any help would be greatly appreciated in making this work out. :) Thanks in advance.
