I'm thinking about taking this to my areas upcoming regional but I'm what people call a "noob" at this new deck type and could use some helpful feed back.

yeah I was thinking about taking a controller out but I'm having a massive brain stroke at the moment and can't think of anything to replace it with.

Also why not solemn? It negates cards and could save or win you the match.

And no I will not trade the smashings because I pretty much had to sell my soul for them.(Dammit I could have gotten something better)

Yeah, just not rich or lucky enough to win one. But when it comes out I'll be there, if it ever comes out.

Ok I made a few changes and would like to get some more thoughts and changes that I could make.

take out the phoenix and the hand
and add 2 fissures

You need to add more monster removal like more fissures and hammer shots always work very well. Also, phoenix is your worst choice to have in the deck because it will destroy any protection that you may have for your gadgets and that you do not want to happen. Also, solemn judgement will not help this deck because gadgets have very few cards that can honestly really hurt them and even less when the ban list is in effect so you have nothing to worry about except for one card that will greatly slow down the pace of a gadget deck:
