Hello there everyone. I just bought myself the Machine's Re-Volt structure deck and could really use some help editing it.
I'm trying to keep the main theme, search for Gadgets and not allow my opponent to use spells/traps during the battle phase when I attack.
Please don't tell me to add Cyber Dragon, I don't have any. I am working on that though. Thank you.

ok, id lose the chasers 1st, as theyre 1850 and dont help out that much. gear soldiers much better. if you want to stop opponents traps in b/p, id suggest a cannon or 2, theyre very handy. id add some rush recklessly, it'll be to easy to pop off your gadgets and gears with. looks good other wise.

I would -1 mechanicalchaser and I would replace it with ancient gear cannon, so as to disable the opponents traps and add a burn effect in the deck. Or -1 mechanicalchaser and +1 gyroid would also be good. You understand that I don't think so highly of mechanicalchaser. But nice deck anyway. I am struggling with the machine revolt deck too.
Yeah, so far people, from what I've seen, don't like Mechanicalchaser. I mean, he's a 4-star, 1850, Dark type, Machine, normal monster. He isn't that bad. Very nice to drop with Limiter Removal or just to dump and attack with. Once I get Cyber Dragons though I'm gonna remove the Mechanicalchasers for the Cyber Dragons and see how that works out. However, thank you all for the advice so far. Are there anymore suggestions? It would be greatly appriciated. -Nick
I was looking at it the other day and at least in my ancient gear deck drillroid and gyroid fit just fine. I was thinking about Jinzo, too. I do not have one but since it is a machine with a great attack for a one tribute monster and a superb effect, I could use one in such a deck.
Shrink is in my opinion definately better than rush. Shrink gives the chance to all monsters with a rather low ATK like gadgets kill something big like cyber dragon (a card which I am fed up seeing and yet not have one) rush recklessly would only allow green to have the same ATK which is not that good cuz you get -2 ( green gadget and rush ) to take out one ( cyber dragon) so if you ask me, GO SHRINK GO! Of course since you don't have one ( me either!) you can't run it so till you get one run mechanicalchaser better than running rush.
1.) Shrink is not better then Rush Reckeslly, they are both of equal power, it just depends on how you use them. People only get the idea from the OCJ and seeing the japaness used them. That was only from the high end use of very arrgo special summonings, cyber dragon not included. But unlike what we have now, saying one it better then the other isn't. So running 3 or 2 of each and siding the Corrisponding number in your side deck is advised.
2.) Drop the following:
Ancient Gear Gadjiltron Chimera - I'd go with easier to summon monsters like
Boot-Up Soldier - Dread Dynamo.
Gear Golem the Moving Fortress - Good card, but you're moving towards the aggersive on slaught.
Heavy Mech Support Platform - a very nice card, but you dont have anything worth saving, all of your cards are replaceable fast.
Mechanicalchaser - 1850 attacker... it's going to get owned.
Exiled Force - Smashing Ground or Fissure would be a better choice then Exlied in a Gadget Deck.
Spirit Reaper - You wont need Spirit Reaper 80%+ of the time. If you still think you need it keep it.
Hammer Shot - Use with caution, it destroys the higest attack monster in attack position, so if its yours, which it could be because of your selection of monsters, you're would be destoryed
Enemy Controller - This is a good card, but with Rush and Shirnk Unlimited you may never had to run this even side deck it.
Messenger of Peace - This is a great card to run with Shirnk, unlike Rush Recklessly which can't be activate in the damage step if the attack would add up to be greater then 1500. So if you run 3 of these and 3 Shrink you'll see a major increase in your field control.
Stronghold the Moving Fortress - Only works while you have all 3 Gadgets on the field
Rare Metalmoprh - One of the games... near pointless cards. Unless UDE and and Co. can create a leagcy to make this card more usefull then dont run it.
Waboku - Think MONSTER TRUCK RALLY~ YOU ARE DESTORYING THINGS~ FWAHAHAH Dont think school bus, which this card does. You dont want to stop attacks, you want them to regret attacking in the first place.
Hajime saito I mostly agree with you but I have some objections. Heavy mech support plattform is good cuz gadgets are not recruiters they are able to give you a monster in your hand. So, in beatdown decks you would find a really big trouble keeping field presence. Heavy mech will allow you to take one attack without your monster being destroyed and if combined with mechanicalchaser you would beat all those berserk gorillas, archfient soldiers etc.
Moreover, every deck must have its beatstick so ancient chimera and dragon must stay what would you do with no high attacks?
About stronghold, although it needs all 3 gadgets to have an attack, it is a useful defence and it is SPECIAL SUMMONED on the field so you are allowed to tribute it. I believe it is definately better than boot up dread dynamo.
Lastly about waboku, I don't think it is of any harm having some extra seurity.
About shrink and rush recklessly, If you have read above, then you know my opinion. It has served me well in my deck, better than rush which I had before and as I said, in a game where cyber dragons rule the game, try to take them down, and rush does not let you do so

gaia for ever: ZOMG Its a discussion~ every thing you said as vaid but your 1st point. Gadgets are expendable. You summon one, get another, clear the field and attack. RINSE, WASH AND REPEAT~~~!!!!! FWAHAHAHAH So yes they can eaisly be over ran by arrgo monsters but thats one of the reasons why gadget decks are heavy on monster removal. But again with this deck in particular he's going to need more means to special gadgets to use his other cards which gain effects with a gadget present. So Running Giant Rat MAY be a very good Choice in this instant.
