Kinetic Soldier is a good side deck against them, Cloak and Dagger stops them from easily swarming: Opponent summons Yaichi, You activate C&D and call Grandmaster, your opponent lets out a few lewd words after reading the card and passes after being stuck with Grandmaster and Shien in his hand.
Six Samurai decks win by swarming quickly. One way to beat them is to swarm quicker. Play a fast deck and you shouldn't have problems. This format is going to be all about speed, with only a few exceptions.
If you don't have a fast deck, then you just have to play fairly tight until you can generate a big enough momentum swing that the samurai user won't be able to recover from. Don't let him slowly build up his field, use cards that cut down his options before he gets to the field like Confiscation, Thestalos, Trap Dustshoot and so on. Main Torrential and Mirror Force obv~.
in all honesty the best way to beat samurai's is by packing a bunch of cards that let you steal their monsters, monarchs have a field day with samurai's because they pack 2-3 brian controls and creature swaps most of the time. Samurai's biggest weakness is against cards like that. For that reason alone I have began to run 2 spell shield type 8 in my samurai deck mained.
Play Monarchs.
No, seriously, that's the tech. Brain Control, Soul Exchange, Snatch Steal. Two out of the three in your main. Then if you've got a Kinetic Soldier in your side, you're halfway home.

You could try blocking off their monster zones so the samurai's can't use their effects. One way to go is to use 2 ground collapse cards so only 1 monster zone is usable.
the one sure way to beat a six-samurai is speed and monster control, six-samurai monster are strongest when they are together so players swarm the field with them, stop the summons and control the field and you have them beat, use trap holes and bottomless to stop summons or any spells or traps or monster effects to stops summons or keep the magic zone bare and most important keep the high level samurai off the field at all cost especially Shien since his effect is the most devastating of the samurai monsters. As long as you can keep the field in check you'll be alright
