It's not even really about the game state. The Monster's Summon was negated. It didnt erase the Normal Summon attempt itself. You had to Normal or Tribute Summon a monster in order for "something" to be negated.
Since Forced Back negates the summon, it can be used on Jinzo, as Jinzo and other continuous effect monsters (Wildheart comes to mind) aren't applied if the summon is negated, I believe.
correct. we now have 3-4 cards that can technicallyy stop jinzo from hitting the field. solemn judment, (black) horn of hevan (depending on how it was summoned) and forced back.
Anyone else find it strange that the question of if negating a normal summon lets you try another, or if you can negate jinzo's summon are being asked because of forced back?
These things were answered back in MetalRaiders when solemn judgment came out (the first question) and then in Pharaoh'sServant when jinzo came out.
