Negate the activation of a card that includes the effect of destroying 1 Magic or Trap Card and destroy it.
What are your thoughts on this card? While not a card for every deck, I would think that this card would see a lot of play in at least the side decks of decks that rely on certain spells and traps.
For example, it would be very useful to side in a couple of these if your opponent is going to side some S/T destruction against your Macro Cosmos/Dimensional Fissure/Skill Drain/Stall.
It can't stop Mobius or it would be played more. It just stops magic and traps. It also can't stop Heavy Storm.
which basically means it stops MST and possibly dust if they are using it.
The card simply does not protect against enough to justify its use. I'll stick to solemn, the cost is high but at least when its down I know I am safe from anything.
Yep, only magic or traps that destroy 1 m/t. It's similar to Judgement of Anubis, but I prefer that one since it has the destroy a monster and deal damage to just them. It also stops Twister.

Yet it only will work on like....4 or 5 cards.
MST
Heavy
Dark World Lightning
Twister
Bait Doll
If I want to screw up their Spells I would rather run Magic Drain. Kill their options will ultimately land you a better position over your opponent. Also, it doesn't cost you a card in your hand like Judgment of Anubis does. However, that's just me.
Btw, Curse of Royal sucks when there are better things to use.

It won't even stop Heavy since it destroys all, not just 1. It's really useless in this meta. It does stop Dust though so it has it's place, but not in many decks if any. There are better ways that are more versitile.
