hmm i would use 3 tomatos just because alot of times they will die in other ways then by battle so two might not be enough
also you have alot of "swappable" monsters so i would use two creature swap as well
hope this helps!
With 2 Mystic Tomatos, 3 Giant Germs, a Sangan and a Newdoria that gives me a total of 7 "swappable" monsters. I think 1 Creature Swap should be okay, but I'll see.
dont forget treeborn frog, thats pretty much a swappable creature throughout the whole game. and if not then you got the 7 others you mentioned plus scape goat
The deck was too defensive, and there are many opportunities for dead draws. Card Destruction is an overlooked card that can deal with bad hands for the cost of a card. If you hand was unworkable anyway, a -1 no big loss. It's especially good for those early game Phoenix hands.
Shrink outshines CEDevice, and deals with wayward Jinzo or Mobii wanting to run into Phoenix. Mirror Wall acts like your 4th copy of Shrink that you can keep if you can spare 2000 LP. Plus, they work wonders with a set Don Zaloog.
You're running a 40-card sharp deck. With the Tomatoes and Germs helping you thin, upping the monster count is no problem. The extra Tomato and Newdoria give you more opening hand options and boosts monster count, both of which are good for the deck.
I want to thank you guys for giving me advice with this, I really appreciate the help. I wasnt even sure if I was even going to stick with the deck that much longer, but now that it looks more organized I'll give it a shot.

It looks like my work here is done

C'mon where's the spirit in trying to tweak it? When you try to create original ideas or improve on already good ones, you can't expect success everytime. Just because you went 1-3 doesn't exactly mean you lost because the deck didn't work. Maybe the strategy you're using isn't working in your format or maybe you just drew a lot of bad hands. Happens to the best of us.
From what I gather, your deck is kinda similar to another one I read about but instead he used Giant Rat and Exploder Dragons. (whoever that is, you get full credit on my support ^_^). Sometimes it's maybe how you run it. For example, instead of running other supports why don't you use Apprentice Engine since Tomato can search for it as well as create more deck thinning for your Phoenix. Newdoria is still a good idea so don't scrap that.
Overall just keep tweaking the deck till it flows right for you. If I didn't keep tweaking my Six Samurai deck, it would never have done so well at my local tournaments. Just don't give up on it yet.
