Did some YVD testing and it works it pretty well so far, but I haven't tested it against a monarch deck yet.
You should take out the Cyber Dragons and Dweller in the Depths.Stick to either Hamon or Gravi-Crush/Magna-Slash Dragons and when Tactical Evolution comes out,you should try Rainbow Dragon. You will also need more Crystal Beasts.Try Topaz Tiger.
Hamon and Dragon dont belong in the deck....I STRONGLY suggest you read the latest article on metagame.com
Dr.Crowler gives a lecture on various options a Crystal Duelist has.
What are you talking about? My Crystal Beast Deck is my main deck and I've played it together with Hamon,Gravi-Crush/Magna-Slash Dragons and even Rainbow Dragon.Out of 2/3 duels,I often summon them out and they are a great help.
you should not use tribute monsters in a crystal beast deck it is against there nature. But I do not mind hammon too much because it could be used to help take control of a duel you were losing.
personally I like the diamond dude variant to crystal beasts.
I like the OTK version. People always overlook Crystal Abundance as being too conditional a card. It's not hard to get 4 Crystal Beasts out in M/T form at all, especially with a playset of Sapphire Pegasus. Destroy 4 cards on the opponent's side of the field, take away at least 4000 LP. If your setup is 2 Pegasi, 1 Mammoth, and 1 Tiger, you'll have dealt 7300 damage in 1 turn. Ring something for game. It's not hard at all.
actually Ive the diamond dude version is also the OTK version it runs three abundances because if you hit one with diamond dude you dont need 4 crystal beasts in the spell trap card zones.
I've tried the Wild Nature's Release version of the deck. It's actually a waste of resources trying to pump the Crystal Beasts and attack, since in the end, Crystal Abundance sweeps up everything anyway. It's not worth pumping a Crystal Beast. Now Beast Soul Swap, on the other hand, is a useful card. It can let you manipulate exactly what crystal beasts get put into your back row without the specific use of Sapphire Pegasus.
Right now I am experimenting a spell card 'Thunder Crash' for the fun of it. XD But then again, alot of people would realise the potential crystal beast has and would not destroy them. You need to have them in s/t asap so this might work? Of course, torriental Tribute works too.
