I don't know about another DDV, but I do agree, another Rite of Spirit could be fit in somewhere.
Other ideas?
DDV is just so easy to activate with your 3 Commandants and 3 Assailants, 3 Spear Soldier being searchable by Tomatoes, Sangan, and Spies.
A pair of Gravekeeper's Chief could be nice. It'd top 2k for DDV and it'd be as strong as a monarch, not to mention it's basically a free summon when it brings back that 1700+ gravekeeper to swarm the field.
Gravekeeper's Guard is a little iffy, I don't think he'd provide enough advantage in the long run to be worth the slot in your deck.
ben what about giant trunade? when running field spells you dont want them destroyed right? i was thinking maybe trunade for heavy? im also tying my hand at gravekeepeers. but with horus.
3 Necrovalley
2 Enemy Controller
2 Smashing Ground
1 Confiscation
1 Heavy Storm
1 Snatch Steal
1 Mystical Space Typhoon
1 Nobleman Of Crossout
Trap: 8
3 Sakuretsu Armor
1 Deck Devestation Virus
1 Rite Of Spirit
1 Mirror Force
1 Ring Of Destruction
1 Torrential Tribute
I like this deck. Good GK build. I would personally make the following changes :
-1 Cyber Dragon
-1 Torrential
+2x Sage of Silence
This because both Cydra and Torrential contradict your GK swarm. I personally wouldn't run any cydra's, but if you added three, i'm sure you tested them and they did something for you. So i'm only taking out one here. Sage's on the other hand can cash in on a swarm by preventing the use of spells that shift tempo on the following turn.
-3x Sakuretsu
+3x Shrink
On defense, for a deck that keeps monsters out like this, it does the same thing, but it also allows you to get damage in on offense when you need it, like with sage of silence or GK spy, when you need to capitalize without using Removal. Save your smashings as it were, for the real threats.
-2 E-con
+2 Rite of SPirit
Swarm away. E-con is not bad, but if you run 3x shrink and 2x Smashing, I don't see them paying off as much as the Rites.
I really like your monster line-up choices, with night assailant and the single GK guard.
Darn, now when I go to the next regs people will think I just copied metagame. Jerome just wrote a nice article on gravekeeper's.
Actually this is one of the few decks I doubt people will think that, simply because :
A.Everyone knows that Necrovalley is good against the meta
B.Necrovalley is stronger with commandant
C.There aren't a million different ways to build GK's.
Your deck doesn't run any royal tributes which were a core part of Jerome's strategy. A flawed core, since there are a lot of monsters I wouldn't want to discard :
Circle and D-hero : Malicious, Disk Commander, dasher
Monarch and Circle : Treeborn
