Maybe these snakes deserve to have a closer look at them.
Finally we have the official text of alot of the cards from TAEV.
And the were many a debacle of the proper text of cards like Venominon and Venominaga.
Now we have it.
Venominon
This card cannot be Special Summoned by another Effect Monster’s effect. This card is unaffected by “Venom Swamp.” This card gains 500 ATK for each Reptile-Type monster in your Graveyard. When this card is destroyed by battle and sent to the Graveyard, you can remove from play 1 other Reptile-Type monster from your Graveyard to Special Summon this card.
The Major difference is the first line in the cards text.
"This card cannot be Special Summoned by another Effect Monster’s effect" okay...so you cant use The Creators effect to special summon this card from the graveyard....who cares?
Whats important is that he can indeed be special summoned from the graveyard, deck and or hand. Thats the simple part...everyone knows there are PLENTY of ways to special summon a monster without using another monsters effect to do it.
But this is where things can become a little complicated....the card the allows you to special summon Vennominaga demands that Vennominon be destroyed....( if the ban list speculations are accurate, then this can futher explain why cards like ring of destruction are going to be banned ) .....So I guess this is where the creativity aspect of dueling comes into mind...
"What cards Can I use to destroy my own monster...and FAST?"
If the rumors are true and Tribe Infecting Virus will be set free from the bann list than it will certainly be a huge help...however tribe is limited and cant easily be searched.
Other destructive monsters come to mind like exiled force...and even the upsoming Mormolith.....but theyre still not as reliable....so Im guessing the best route to take would be to deal with Spells and traps to do the job for you.
Throw Venominion into your graveyard with cards like Snake Rain and then Special Summon it with something simple like Call of the Haunted or Premature Burial...get it destroyed while Descent of the Snake God is set and and slap the queen on the field with AT LEAST 2500 and its basically game over for your opponent....
Offerings to the doomed seem to be a good choice...but only if you BOTH Descent AND the king on the field...
I proxied a Venominaga deck about a month ago and I used a couple different ways of special summoning her.
First off, make sure that Venominaga is not your win condition. Two copies of her and her combo pieces with two card traders to draw her out mid to late game is all you need. Later game you'll have more reptiles in the grave to fuel Venominaga if you haven't used Snake Rain yet, pumping Venominaga's attack power more.
Some reptiles that may or may not be worth testing:
Aliens
Des Feral Imp
Gale Lizard
Granadora
Serpentine Princess
Cobra Jar
Bitelon
Silent Abyss (and all its cousins)
Gigobyte (fun to read when you're bored)
Gagagigo (ditto, and good attack strength)
Gogiga Gagagigo (ditto, good with snake rain in Return builds)
Toon Aligator (funny card)
All TAEV Snakes (one has high defense, good for stall)
There is also another idea I've thought of; Snakey Demise.
Use Advanced Ritual Art to send smaller reptiles to the graveyard, summoning Demise to do some damage, and then clean up later with Venominaga - whose attack strength will be boosted by the reptiles you sent to the graveyard for Advanced Ritual Art. Will it work? Maybe, maybe not, haven't tried it.

Meaning you cannot use a searcher like Mystic Tomato, Giant Rat, etc.

You don't have to use anything, let your opponent.

It doesn't. It's what he's side decking against Venom. Personally I'd rather stick to the Royal Decrees I'm already side decking.
