Little Swordsman of Aile + Hysteric Party = amazing combo

1. Summon Little Swordsman of Aile.

2. Use Hysteric Party's effect to bring back Harpies

3. Use Aile's effect to tribute them and increase his attack.

4. Repeat #2 and 3.

Instead of Aile, use United We Stand. You don't have to lose field presence and your monster will gain 800-4000 attack.

But it would be far more fun to smack down your opponent with some little kid on a lizard! 8^D

It could just be me, but I'm not seeing the combo.

Tribute 1 monster on your side of the field to increase this monster's ATK by 700 points until the end of this turn.

That's Aile's text. He also has 800 ATK. So let's assume you have 3 harpie lady and a Queen. You discard a card from your hand to summon them. You sac all of them.

800 + (700 x 4) =
800 + (2800) = 3600
8000 =/= 3600

I'm not seeing the greatness. TroopDoop = 1900 x 3 = 5400.

5400 > 3600

So what am I missing?

Well, assuming you had a full hand, or dropped a Ojamagic initially (ala Snipe Hunter), you could reactivate the effect multiple times since Hysteric Party is a continuous trap with a triggered effect that is not limited to once per turn.

At least that's what I'm seeing.

You forget. Harpies aren't fiends. Don't get as many knick-knacks;

Destroy the Harpies, increase his attack, then do it again.
