Is Card Trooper really worth the money at this point in time.:confused: I think we should w8 to see if the price goes down. I just need an opinion about this card. Sure it's good for any deck but i dont think we should put that much money for 1 card.

That's true....it's just that the price is way too much at this point in time though. My zombie deck will seriously own if i had some but im not gonna pay that much for 1

At this point, unless you're going to a regional or shonen, wait to see if it gets touched by the ban list.

I'm not going to a regional or shonen, but i do go to front row tournaments every thursday. The prize there isnt that big, only a structure deck.

I believe that Card Trooper is overrated.

It is a great card in a lot of decks, but it may end up killing you.

i second this, i never liked the idea of losing my s/t cards, dont care mush about milling monsters though

Plus, odds are high of one of these things happening:

It gets restricted.

It gets reprinted.

So, I would wait until the situation becomes a little bit more advantageous for the average duelist before buying one/some.

I think it's closer to 40 or 50, but that's still way too high, especially for people like me.

Buying troopers before the next ban list update is asking for trouble.
Its best to wait and see Unless you plan on going to SJC's. If its local with crap prize save your money and spend it on something you DO need.

yea id wait for the next ban list,hopefully he be put down to 2 or 1,hes a decent card,but i can live without him,i mean i bought cyber-stein and the next day he was banned,i was really pissed,and i know if i buy a card trooper they knock him down just as old cyber-stein

no i personally thiink the card sucks cause im always working with exodia but once exodiius hits the US i might fell diffrent but it will probably get limited if not banned

save your money, crystal seer might replace many of these cards since it has a thinning engine also, plus 2 card draw drop. So it's not that bad.

If you can afford them, buy them. The worst that's going to happen come time for the ban list is that you have either 2 you can put into another deck, or 2 that you can trade. It's a huge boost to the Zombie deck, losing 2 of them would make me sad when the real problem is Machine Duplication. Trooper itself isn't that broken.
