Very different deck, and the point seems to be evading me. I get the whole return aspect, but there is no m/t removal, and I think that you need some to chain return to. Pole position seems odd to me. Wow, I am confused. Enlighten me Kaiser.
First the reason for the lack of s/t is because well, I'm not really that afraid of it. The only thing I worry about is spells and I'll get to that in a bit. I got 3 Mobi, 3 Wildheart and even Spell Strikers to make me fear less of his f/d s/t. The monsters is my only fear. I feel monsters are the key in most decks to survive. Get rid of the monsters and you should succeed in winning.
Second is Pole Position. This card absolutely rocks. Let's see. If my monsters are stronger, they are unaffected by spell cards leaving opponent's with no way of getting rid of it cept for traps and monsters. And if he gets greedy and tries to destroy my s/t lineup and I have Pole set, oops, your monster may be stronger than mine but it dies!
Third is Blast with Chain. Pretty much it's the best chain I love. I can special summon CyDra, play Blast face down and unless Raiza or Zaborg hit the field, not worry about him attacking it. And even if my strategy fails, my side with 3 Solemns and 2 Spell Shields will prevail in place. And funny thing is, the Fissures (Dimensional) are able to be sided out for Wave-Motion. Just to change the deck up.
O.K. I see now. If that is the case, I would say to main the vortexes. I see though. Not bad, but not one of your best. Why not try the D.D.Master, and DMoC combo in this deck? I could see it working pretty well. I actually think that D.D.Master should be looked at. He can get back alot of things for that final push. I have to admit, I do not have much experience with decks like this, because I have not tried it yet. Exiled seems a bit slow though for this deck. Let me test this deck out on YVD, and I will get back to you late tomorrow with more fixes. I have to see this deck played. Then I can say more. For now, Peace..Y.
LOL....thanks....not one of my best?! Yeesh....lol j/k.
I use to main Vortex but people are playing a lot of f/d monsters so the NoC went in for now. And Exiled is meant to solidify my monster presence...I don't summon him unless I have a strong monster to maintain or I have no choice. This dec just somehow works for me.
JERHA07 - thanks for the rate. Yeah it does help protect D.D. against Cyber but it has so many other uses. A 2000 atk Wildheart who you can't stop with traps, a 2600 atk CyDra who would make Monarch's on the field tremble unless protected. The possibilities are endless. The one thing I have to worry about is Pole Position. See if I play Pole and Blast in unison, the difference btw my monster and opponent's must be over 500 atk or else it will cause an infinite loop.
Example: Pole is on my field and opponent has a Monarch. I special summon CyDra and activate Blast making CyDra 2600. CyDra is the strongest so Pole makes CyDra unaffected by spells but then Blast effect is negated so drops CyDra back to 2100. Then the Monarch becomes the strongest so Pole goes to him and CyDra's atk bonus returns and then the cycle continues.
Though this is a problem I do know about there is one benefit to it. If say my opponent MST, Breaker, etc. (not mass removal like Heavy) my f/d Blast, I can still chain and equip it to the Monarch even if Pole is out and the Monarch is unaffected. It's because although he is unaffected by spells, he can still be equipped with spells, just nothing would happen. And I can still destroy him. But I realize running both has it's ups and downs so I may take out either Pole or Blast for 2-3 Bottomless Trap Hole. I think I'm gonna keep Blast but I'll try out both scenarios and see what happens.
