3x Dark Bribe
2x Divine Wrath
3x Solemn Judgment
1x Mirror Force
1x Torrential Tribute
Fusions:
3x Cyberdark Dragon
3x Chimeratech Overdragon
This deck is something I want to work with over the next few months. I love the theme of the Cyberdark cards and really want to dedicate myself to making this deck as good as possible. Any and all suggestions are welcome and will be tested. Dark Horus is something I'm experimenting with at the moment, and he has the potential to be truely lethal in this deck. My opponent heaves a sigh of relief when Horus leaves the field, only to find himself staring down a Cyberdark Dragon equipped with Dark Horus. Fun stuff.
EDIT: Changed the deck to incorporate Vandy as suggested by -Ajax-
This deck is a very interesting concept. But may I suggest adding some viruses for this deck. It will help against decks like FTK, and DAD Return.
- 2 Enemy Controller
I can see this being in the deck, but your monster are very powerful on their own.
- 2 Shrinks
Cyberdark in this deck can become 2200-2500 easily, I think wasted int his deck.
- 2 Cyber Phoenix
Honestly there is few cards that target in this format.
+ 3 Allure of Darkness
Allure of Darkness helps speed your deck.
+1 Crush Card Virus/Deck Devastation Virus
Crush Card is preferable, but for cost wise DDV is useful in this deck as well.
+ 2 Epidemic Eradicator Virus
This card is the best trap for your deck, because it can control your opponents action.
I simply like this deck as it look, but there is room for improvement for this deck
Check my deck in my sig....
I actually agree with the point about Cyber Phoenix. I really only added it to the deck based on recommendations from friends and the fact that it provides some draw capability.
Although I love my Allures, unfortunately they can't work in this deck due to the lack of RFG recursion. Simply put, I can't remove Cyberdark pieces, and I can't risk removing anything that can be attached to a Cyberdark monster. That reduces the possible targets to something close to zero.
Having said that, there may be a way to fit a third Horus into the deck with some recursion, and that would make the Allures an excellent choice.
I love the Virus cards, but CCV is currently next to impossible for me to get. I can't afford the 150-300 pounds it would cost to buy online, and there are currently only 2 in circulation in my area, so the chances of trading for one are slim. I will give Deck Dev a go though.
Eradicator I see more as a Sideboard card to be honest. The big problem I have with it is the fact that I'm giving up a very powerful monster to activate a card which may not even find a target. Most draw decks burn through their spells earlier than I could activate the Virus and their Trap count is generally very low.
Thanks for the suggestions, and I added my thoughts on your excellent GK deck.
Made a major overhaul to this deck. On another Cyberdark thread, -Ajax- pointed out that Vandy has a lot of potential in this deck, and since I finally managed to get 3 Solemns I thought I'd give him a try. Essentially, I'm sacrificing speed for control, but given that the control is coupled with a giant beater, it shouldn't be too much of a problem. Divine Wrath also gives me an additional way to dump for the Cyberdarks.
Are 3 Van'Dalgyons too many? I say this b/c they might be dead draws if you don't have enough field presence or counter traps at your disposal.
Honestly, I don't know, since this is my first time running him. I've been told that having 8-9 Counters is optimal for 3 copies of Van'Dalgyon. I'll just have to run the deck for a bit and see what happens.
