i just read in a post about nightcrawler vs. batman that batman could move into hindering terrain and he would be safe from a nightcrawler attack, is this true? do non-flying hss figures have to stop when entering terrain? such as flash and nightcrawler?
and another thing, if nightcrawler uses hss and enters hindering terrain but is adjacent to an opponent, can he still make an attack if he cannot leave the terrain?
Non-flying HSS figures DO stop when entering hindering terrain.
As soon as they enter hindering terrain, their action is over, so therefore they wouldn't be able to make the attack.

is this the same for charge and running shot grounded figures as well? say doc samson using charge, but still ending his movement in terrain? can he attack or not? and again with flyers, if it was rogue instead of doc samson, yea or nea? sorry if these questions are getting stupid.
Actually, with Charge and RS, it works a little differently.
With Charge/RS, you move, and when your move is done, you make a combat action.
HSS gives you a free action to use as an attack during the move action. Once you enter hindering terrain, your move action immediately ends, denying you the chance to attack.
Of course, flyers are unaffected by hindering terrain, so they can still make thier attack as normal.
