Alright, so here is a much better (in my own opinion) version of a deck that I posted a few days ago, and I believe this very well might be the deck that I am taking to SJC Detroit. I have come to learn that raw speed, and a Kamikaze attitude in YuGiOh deckbuilding, are not always the answer. Case in point: Tele-DaD, is a VERY good deck, but it over-extends a little too much, which is why it lost inevitably to Gladiator Beasts. Now I am not sure on the ruling on Skill Drain .VS. Gladiator Beasts, but I believe that a deck abusing Skill Drain, and Full Negation Trap line-up, has more than a good chance for survival in the Meta. So, without further ado, here is my creation that should stir up some feedback (even though it seems the Depot has been dead as of late!):
Monsters
------------ Elemental Hero Captain Gold - 3
Elemental Hero Neos Alius - 3
Honest - 3
Exiled Force - 3
Guardian of Order - 2
Garoth, LS Warrior - 1
Sangan - 1
Cyber Dragon - 1
D.D. Warrior Lady - 1--------------------------------------------18
Spells
-------- Reinforcement of the Army - 3
E-Emergency Call - 2
The Warrior Returning Alive - 2
Monster Reincarnation - 2
Enemy Controller - 2
Monster Reborn - 1
Heavy Storm - 1
Card Destruction - 1
Mystical Space Typhoon - 1------------------------------------15
The deck seems to be doing good in Testing, and I know all about the Skyscraper thing, but I refuse to run it, as it is one sided, and usually not beneficial. I have tried it. The deck does not seem to have very many holes at all. The ones it does have, are cured by how fast the deck is. I don't need much Monster Destruction, because of Exiled, and likewise for M/T Destruction, as I have Bribes, and Solemns. Card Destruction is a neccesity, even though there are not many dead hands with this deck. I seem to be able to re-use Honest left and right, because I can always get him back to my hand when I need him. I tried Shrink's, and they don't seem to be fast enough, and Enemy Controller, is my Trump card that is always mained in 2's at least, after seeing how effective they were against GB's, and slows a lot of other stuff down. I could do the Book of Moon thing, but I really don't need to. This deck loves most match-up's, because it can pretty much match it card for card, and I seem to eek out the win within a few turns. I did get a second turn win with this deck against a GB deck on YVD. Don't ask me how, because I really don't know, but this deck has hidden power in it. I am torn between this deck and my Valhalla deck which I love more than anything, and the Raw power of Zombies, which I am currently trying to build. I would love to think that Zombies have potential to be Tier 1, but I think that once again, they are an over-extending decktype. I am toying with lots of different builds, and they seem to be effective, but I won't know how much so until I get to run Zombie World, and the Zombie Tuner monster. I am liking this deck more and more, and have even taken my proxied Honest's out of this deck, and put the ones from my Valhalla deck in it (if you knew how much I love my Valhalla deck, you would know how much that one hurt me). So guys, let me know what you think, and if I have time, I shall return the favor for you as well. Thanks, C.
It is big beats my man. I can get 2 Light monsters on the field with no problem, and if I have Guardian in hand, even better. It helps me get the finishing Attack in. It is very hard for most decks to beat this build, and the Guardians have actually been testing well. Cyber Dragon, Alius, Guardian, almost GG. I have been thinking about Ceasefire. It is a good finisher, and can eek the win out if I can't get an attack through. What does anyone think about this? Thanks for the post Cloud! =C=
Heavy storm is bad in this deck.
Card destruction is generally bad.
Have you considerd Stratos?
Hero blast?
PWWB?
And though you tell that monster removal is not needed due to exiled, with 3 solemns and 2 bribes, Mirror wouldnt be that bad in here.
Hope I helped...
Alright my man. You can just call me and tell me whats up with that. You don't have to PM me anymore for anything trivial. Unless its a decklist or something. Peace, C.
Alright Gaia, I appreciate the bump, and what-not, but the deck pretty much runs fine the way it is. It might need some minor fixes, but not many. I guess Heavy is more of a last resort type of card, and I could find room for 2 Cold Wave's I guess, instead of the Heavy. PWWB, is not at all neccesary in this deck. It is too slow for me. Stratos is a dead drawmost of the time in this deck, which is why I took it out. Hero Blast is Jank, and definitely doesn't fit in the deck. I thought about Mirror, but my Enemy Controller's, and Honest, are pretty good in place of it. Card Destruction is far from generally bad though. It is a universal card. If I have a dead hand, which is not likely, but I may, I can dump it for a fresh one. I also need to dig through the deck for protection, and the deck has no draw power, which is why it is in here. There is no Pot of Greed anymore remember? Pot of Avarice might just work though, although it is a horrible Top-Deck card. Hand Destruction may be better than CD, but it might help my opponent in the process, which I do not want, at all. Thanks for the bumps guys, and thanks NKO, for the compliment, and anything I can do to help, just let me know. Thanks, C.

Well, I thought, you run skill drain and 3 solemns 2 bribes, you want them on the field, I can see storm being dead in here.

Actually, it slows the opponent more than it slows you. Think abou it, your opponent searches for that storm/mst / pwwb to get rid of the skill drain. You pwwb him to control his draws. How the heck can he survive through a long lasting skill drain if he doesnt draw s/t removal? Apart from that, pwwb works fine right now with all the synchros/fusions, right?

With 3 RotA and 2 E-emergency calls, i find that i bit odd. You would most likely summon him on your first turn, so it wont be hurt by skill drain, and, well, it is a +1 after all...

First of all, it is a -1. But thats trully not the point. In a time where nearly all decks are abusing the graveyard, you might end up helping them. Thats all I am saying. Imagine playing against Tele-DaD and activating card destruction. Now, would you really want to do that?
If I can get into my own Strategy quicker, does it really matter if I dump anything for opponent? If I can set a Bribe, Solemn, and Skill, I pretty much can lock it right there, but if I don't get any of those cards on the first draw, and have a Card Destruction in hand, vs not having one, is the difference between a win and a loss. If my opponent Draws a DAD, and D Draws, along with his Teleports, and I Card Destruction him, doesn't it give me the upper hand? I believe that it would. Now I don't know where you guys get these ratios from, but all this -1 crap, is just more annoying than anything. I have never played by that rule, and never let it affect my gameplay and deck decisions, and I have Top 8'd I don't know how many Reg's, and Top 16'd a SJC. I think duelists like you read too much into the negative side of a card. There is always going to be something out there that can hurt you, or help you. A cure for my dead hands has always been, and always will be Card D. It helps reload my hand, and can feed my graveyard. I have to draw into Skill Drain, and a Solemn within the first turn or so to pull the win out, or I am usually screwed. This is why I run Card Destruction. I might very well be better off with Reload, but either way, I need something to either replenish my hand, or cure a bad one. Thanks for the assisitance though, C.
