My buddy has Derek's Atlas, and is considering using it again, what with the new rule chagnes. So I decided (since I was bored) to make him a 450 Atlas army. It ended up being SS pure.

1 "Big Blue" Derek Hasbani
1 SS JI100 Recovery Vehicle
5 SS Hoverbike Squads
1 SS Sniper Arty

I used the JI100 so there is something to repair Derek, becuase of he fails, the army fail, and that cannot happen (Enter the Matrix paraphrase ;) ), and it's has the highest 'attack' of any repair vehichle but the SS J-37, and it would be unnessary added points for the J-37, since it probably isn't going to be transporting anything.

The Hovers are there purely to harass, and to base arty, which, with the new rules, aren't as big a threat as they used to be, but still the best way to take him down.

The Sniper to provide some good AP arty cover.

Now that I think about it, I could also go with:

1 "Big Blue" Derek Hasbani
1 SS J-37
4 SS Hoverbike Squads
1 SS Sniper Arty

Plus 10 points of some filler.

Same thing, except that the J-37 is towing the Sniper around when Derek doesn't need the assist.


The biggest threat to this is probably going to be arty and helis. Maybe I should put in a AA gun?
