I think HL'ers suck.

However, they make great pieces for repaints and mods, in that respect, I love the Highlanders.

You are new to the faction, so I'll cut you a little slack. What do you think of the fact that the harshest critics of the Highlanders are those that have been playing them for well over a year, since day 1? What makes you think that just because we send you garbage units and you field them makes them any more effective?

Basically, your whole "if you dont like being screwed, send me your units" arguement does a tremendous disservice to everyone trying to fix things. Ordinarily I'd say some rather unkind things to you as a result, but you are new. Instead, I suggest you check out the Highlander Strategy Thread on the Mobilization Point forum. Also Highlander Faction War on the same forum. Theyre a long read but they'll help you avoid making ridiculous posts like this in the future.

Won two out of three games this weekend with Highlander armies. People who underestimate the Highlanders will come to regret it sooner or later.

Highlanders is my number two faction next to my beloved Spirit Cats. I love both armies because thier real power isn't always obvious to your opponent, but sure enough it's there.

u misunderstand me. I have been playing for about a year, and i love the Hlers. Im just saying, everyone says that they suck, so y dont they sent their "sucky" pieces to someone who will use them?

The FACT is that yes, the Highlanders are going to be "SHAFTED" in Counter Assault. But didn't Bannson's Raiders get shafted in Dark Age? It's my opinion that while yes it bad that the Highlanders will only recive eight pieces in counter assault, that's exactally what my beloved raiders got from Dark Age, yet to counter this we recived some UBER L.E.s and some love in the following sets. So all I can say is Best of luck next round.

Bannson, the HLers have been shafted in every set, with DA being their best and still not great.

Everyone else is lucky to a HL player.

well mr bannson, this is four expansions hl's have been getting ####. and to top it off, for ca they won't be getting anything at all!

Personally when I whip out Caden Senn people at my venue shrink back in fear. I still remember day one. He was in the FIRST BOOSTER I GOT!!! I almost #### myself when I pulled him out and saw all the details. Not to mention later, when going through all my older stuff that got shoved in a box, I saw him, and saw his 23 HA, and again almost #### myself. 191, 14" range, lots o damage. He is still one of the Oldies but goodies. Im partial to him also cuz he was my first mech.

Not getting anything in CA.... What that Mel Tetro and her Longbow is? Its HL mech and its not bad eather. Surely HL might get less units but is it bad thing?

Its not about their pieces or what not.

What it comes down to is that their "strength" is armour and higher defence longer which is negated quite easily by the over abundance of "armour piercing" and "improved targetting".

Unfortunately, because of the high point value of armour and defence, their offence has to be lowered.

It's a great idea but ultimately the HL strengths cost them too much point wise. And the fact that they can't hit the side of a barn with a PPC puts them in that much worse of a situation.

I can't send them to you as I've already traded them all away.

I still have 3 HL Peasants I use as filler.
