Basically, FanPro/WizKids has decided to drop all designs that weren't produced in-house to prevent another occurance of the original Harmony Gold lawsuit which cost FASA so dearly. As such, the following designs are going the way of the Marauder and co.:

Behemoth
Galahad
Grand Crusader
Kraken
Nexus
Peregrine
Raijin
Viper
Vixen

IWM is no longer producing those minis (and we'll never see these in MW:DA in their old form), but there's hope for a visual update to those `Mechs in the future - a continuation of Project Phoenix, perhaps? Personally, I mourn the loss of the Raijin, Behemoth and Viper, but I suppose such a move was inevitable.

Yeah, this does kinda suck. Then again, loads of Useen look better after the Project Phoenix resculpts (Battlemaster, Marauder II/IIC). Then again, some look worse (Griffin, Marauder).

Meh.

Baboon - You're kidding! I love this little chimp of a brawler. It's the Clan UrbanMech : A piece of crud no one would be caught dead fielding that jut grabs a piece of your heart and won't let go. I was really hoping to see this guy on a clicky-base eventually.

Behemoth - Meh. They look cool, but they're impractical for clicky-stuff. Probably end up costing like 350+, too. All that weaponry and armor has to have a price.

Galahad - I recall these as looking gay and having poor focus as to what role they were really intended to play on the battlefield. I have no issues with these going away.

Kraken - Ugly, ugly, ugly, undergunned for an assault and more ugly. Just like the Turkina, I was really hoping these would never see the light of day. Now I get my wish. Yay! Did I mention that they're ugly?

Vixen - Grrr. I recall wreaking havoc with the Incubus back in the day when no one expected a light 'Mech to be toting around as much, if not more, weaponry than many mediums, and yet still having the mobility of a light 'Mech. Plus the things just look trippy cool and fearsome, all lean and stuff. Yeah, I know lots of people don't like the whole 'gun in hand' aspect of the design, but that's what does it for me, really. It hearkens back to the days of Stingers, Wasps, Phoenix Hawks and BattleMasters. In fact, I always thought the Incubus was the Clan's revamp and upgrade of the Stinger into an actual worthwhile design as opposed to the Locust wish-it-was it always seemed like in 3025-era.

But, my opinions are my opinions and others will differ I'm sure and say that the Kraken was the most beautiful thing ever and how can I say it's undergunned with all of those AC 2's?

As a CBT'er I recall fondly Viper and Vixen! I hope the resculpts (if any) don't... uh.... offensively fume.....

Behemoth: Man this mech rocks.
Baboon: Looks funny and it was not very´good.
Grand Crusader: WoB mech to MWDA?
Kraken: Its ugly but it has lot of LRM racks.
Vixen: Nice little mech.

I want them to come out with an Awesome.
