I played MW3 and 4.

Could you fill me in on the plot line of ALL the mechwarrior video games?

I didn't understand MW3 because I was 13, and the story telling sucks.

MW4 was about the FedCom Civil War, right?

Ok MW3 was clan invasion i think.....

But MW4 and 4 mercs was about the fedcom civil war.

The Dresari family has been deposed on Centares for opposing Katrina Steiner/Davions coup in the FedCom. Ian Dresari the son of the Duke fights a guerrilla war and stoves the Lyran Alliance forces off the planet and avenges his family.

MW3 is about IS counter attack against Clan Smoke Jaguar. In it player's charachter's dropship was shotdown by orbital guns and he has to gather his lance mates and fight guerella warfare against jags.
