How do you plan to protect Aesir or Arty, they will get based in first two turns and then chopped to pieces. Don't forget about JF Slyph(pulse + 1 against elite unit).
Second problem both of mech have attack only 9, this can be a big problem, if opponent brings some heavier stuff (Aesir drop could help you here).
Third problem is mech defense, they are charge bait, so you will have to play very defensive if without support.
Aesirdrop is very cost/effective, you get multipurpose AP+IT , for geting extra range i use Merc Zhan. Since i use only merc for transport i still consider my army faction pure, but you can use ordnance transport (it will cost you 2 points les, but you loose 2 inch range and usefulness of transport).
I would drop second Griffin or Arty and exchange it for some infantry support.
Best infantry for me Slyph, Elemental, Cavalires, Purifiers, Gnomes, CE.
Best vehicle Gallon tank(with escort), Behemont, Kite, any of LE vehicle.
Best mech Uller, Wasp, MiningMech II (with Elemental,Salamader, CE in it).
If you drop only arty, you get points for Aesir transport and about 20 or so for infantry, that leaves you with only one option Miniguns.
If you drop only one Griffin, you can get Uller, transport and some ATV/Miniguns.
My dual mech army would be :
Griffin
Uller
Aesir
transport (Zhan)
Slyph
3x Elementals
2xAtv.
or
Griffin
Wasp
Aesir
Gallon (use it in hindering with cavaliers)
transport
Slyph
3xCavaliers
2xATV
If i owned Ken Roos or Thunderbolt/Zeus i would built army around those mech.
The Griffin has interesting potential, but I'm really inclined to say that 9 attack/19 defense on a 160 point unit is just unacceptable. I'd run the Uller.

Run the Behemoth and Aesir in Zahns, and run Carmen solo. Carmen's strong enough to be effective on her own. Keep her behind blocking to take advantage of her ECM (first time I've ever said those words).
It's not perfect, but it does give you a lot of ATV support for your two drops. Be careful of opposing infantry getting up on the Uller, because you don't have any ballistic to keep 'em off you.
It's nice army, remember that you have two drops and only 3 orders and if you going to use arty as well, you could get little short on orders.
I hope 4 miniguns can provide arty cover, use terrain (blocking H), it will hurt accuracy
of Shon, but will keep it safe.
