What would DF's player body like? I know what I would like its too for that.

Remains to be seen yet. Either WK made a goof up about this or there really was no plan for DF to be absorbed by HK. Fluff-wise, Tormark wants to get the Republic for Kurita. It remains to be seen also if this voluntary action of Tormark will be appreciated and reciprocated by HK.

House abilities have been superceded already by Faction Pride. It's unlikely that HK, HD and HS will get faction abilities similar to LI, CJF and CSF.

Best ally that they can get if HK turn their back on them is, who else. The Republic, but Tormark should be tried for treason first.

Also they have done what the players want from the beginning.
Look at HL/Rots most wanted them to be allies so they merged the two thinking why have two factions that act as one. Whynot just have one.

Well, I picked up DF some time in the past, but gave it up when it's paradigm failed my playstyle, or was it the other way around? I'd never know. :p

WK doing what players want from the beginning? I could almost swear that more often, it is not the case. WK will do whatever they want and let the players spite them.

HL and RotS merger is not what the players want. Except of course maybe those who doesn't play HL or RotS.

My friend and I are working on a side campaing that address this issues, but yes it does remain unseen.

The stated paradigm from WK is that the elder houses will be absorbing the splinter factions. DF will not exist by the first release of next year. Neither will Swordsworn, Stormhammers, Highlanders and--most likely--Spirit Cats.

In specific answers to your questions:

- Dishonourable? I have no idea, but HK will most likely absorb DF.

- We may have seen the end of House Abilities. We really don't know what will happen when subfactions are finished being absorbed, because it hasn't ever happened before.

- DF will most likely be absorbed by HK.

- If they are absorbed, they cease to exist, and thus cannot ally with anyone.

- I'm not a DF player, so I can't answer that one.

@Stormraider - As both a Highlander and a RotS player, I love the fact that they're being absorbed. The Highlanders paradigm never really worked all that well to begin with.
