Wow they just might as well make a generic Faction pride card that has 3 abilities that you can choose 1 from. Since it seems almost every faction will have about the same type of abilities except for the 3 original factions- Liao, Jade Falcon & Sea Fox whos abilities for the most part IMO are becoming larging useless and no where as cool as the pay to use FP Cards of the other factions.
Improved tageting Gear costs 23 points for a light mech and 44 points for a heavy mech. (We may get IT for mediums and assaults in FI). If I was going to bring a light mech, I might opt for the gear. IT for light only costs a little more than the FP cost (faction pure) and cannot be removed by True Grit. If I was going to run a heavy mech, I might look at using the FP card.
I dunno, but seems to me they have run out of ideas. Still, cheap IT might be interesting....especially for that #### weak Hanse thats supposed to be elite......
As a House Davion/Swordswon player, I could have used this card many different times, as my dice don't aways seem to like my first rolls. Having the opetion to reroll is alwasy useful IMO.

I agree with you and I'm still waiting to see the might of House Davion since I've seen normal SS units with different insignias.
I like the Davion Hanse - I've used it to beat down a god few mechs - all you need to do is run it with 2 hauberk Battle armours and its attack is 13 for 6AP damage (with faction pride) - and only the hauberks can be hit indirectly because of the Hanse's ECM, so its Shiro-resistant too.
Its a criminally underrated unit - and if I was using it with another mech (Duke in T-fox) I would quite likely use this card to give quasi-improved targeting to the both of them in case either missed, instead of the +1 damage.
Not that I really mind the Hanse, but a 10 attack wouldn't hurt too bad, and maybe a slightly higher defense. I, too, have used the Hanse to good effect *thinks back to the Marquee Sealed...mmm.....*, but it needs a little push somewhere for it to be useful in a half-competitive/half-fun game. Maybe this pseudo-IT will be it :).
