Yep, there are a few 'Mechs stomping around at machall dot com's Thursday comic (Jan. 17). Ian is aware of the MechWarrior game (he mentioned it by name in some long-ago comic), and even if you didn't know that, you'll find his Vulture very similar to the DA sculpt.
