"BIOMETRICS STRIP. DO NOT EAT. PATENT PENDING. BANNSON UNIVERSAL UNLIMITED."

What this suppost to mean? Bannson stop his ambition and work for Republic?

I've been wondering about that too. Its been there since Age of Destruction.

It doesn't really make sense.

All pilot cards have that text printed on them. Looks like Bannson Universal Limited simply owns the property rights and the patent of biometrics strips.

Why not? Just a bit of in-universe humor. Apparently Bannson manufactures whatever it is that the cards are designed to look like. (i.e. a datapad or display of some sort.) Just like how in the real world, you'd see such labels on products from Sony or Apple or 3M or any other company that makes things for sale.

I like it. It's attention to the little details like this that make immersing yourself in a fictional universe that much more fun.
