I'm a longtime plastic crack addict and have no desire to change. I'm just living for my next fix but I'm getting really jittery while waiting for it.

Originally, I had thought that Vanguard released on May 24th but everything on WizKids currently shows May 31.

OMG, do I really have to wait another week? :speechles

There was one spot on WizKids that incorrectly listed the 24th. Everything else has said the 31st.

It's pretty traditional for Mechwarrior sets to release the last Wednesday of the month. IIRC, the only exception was Counterassault, because the last Wednesday of December was Christmas week. They pushed it up to the last week in January.

I've noticed this trend spreading within the hobby industry (not that it wasn't uncommon before). I suspect it's to save shipping costs with the increase in those costs recently. Ship once to the distributors instead of spreading it out over time, which tends to be more costly.
