would pole arm prevent someone from doing a move through on you? I'm thinking of using the gatekeeper in the next dungeon tourny and want to be sure how pole arm works before I do it. then with 100pts of magespawn that doesn't have range and all magespawn having 3 clicks or less of life I think it would work out nicely.
this is what the pole arm rule reads: Pole Arm. When an opposing figure's movement puts him in a square adjacent to this warrior, and this warrior's front arc faces the opposing figure after the freespin opportunity, the opposing figure takes 1 click of damage and the current activation is ended. "after the freespin opportunity", thus, unable for a freespin to take place the opposing figure has to land within base contact with your figure, therefore if the figure is just passing by pole arm does NOT affect the opposing figure.
Pole Arm takes effect (possibly neutralized by Toughness or Invulnerability) only if the opposing figure (Hero or MS) ends its activation in a square adjacent to the front arc of the fig with PA (after free spin opportunity).
However, on a pass through, the attack/counterattack takes place in the middle of the movement so PA has no effect unless the movement does end adjacent to the fig with PA. Right?
