Well I had a Goblin volunteer in my pocket to try and trade and forgot about it. It went through the washer and dryer with just the smallest scratch on its head. I was shock that the base was in perfect shape.
So my question, what has one of your pieces survived and lived to tell about it?
Speaking of goblin volunteers, I went to bed leaving a couple of Mage Knight figures on the table. The curious dog decided to check them out, knocking them on the floor. Out of the figures, the dog decided to eat my volunteer. I assume the volunteer put up his best fight, but in the end . . . Hope it tasted good.
Goblin bolunteers seem to be the most resilient to cats. I tried setting a Kamsin Fuser on fire once when I got bored/frustrated doing a repaint, and surprisingly enough it was pretty fire resistant.
I had a pot bellied and when I was walking down the road it slept through my pocket and get wacked in the road luckily the base was smashed to pieces but still the pot bellied looks like he still kicking and due limited invisibility it's stil alive. Long live the fig!!!!
Wood golems have one of the most solid sculpts. Not only can you hit them with a hammer numerous times, shoot them with a gun, and try to cut them in half by a knife (all of which they will survive), they also have to be the most painful piece to step on with a bare foot. Ouch.
Kamune the Mighty. Survived anargument between my daughters, which was settled by opening the next booster and pulling a second Kamune. The gods of distribution blessed our house that day. Both Kamunes then survived getting backed over by the car, the tires missed the box they were in. Never hurry children into a car to get to the Saturday night game.
No piece has been eaten or even nibbled upon by the house pets, but the hamsters are getting restless and shaking their dice late at night, just to tease the cat. The cat has patience though and chased a mouse into the mouse trap last week in the middle of the night. When the mouse trap snapped, the baby woke up which woke up the rest of the house eventually, and once roused, I pulled the stove away from the wall to reveal the caught mouse for my fascinated daughters, and to much delight of my oldest, her missing Kamune was found in a dust bunny which explained why 2 weeks ago they argued about who would play with Kamune, when I thought they each had one. They had looked at me like I was dumb as I explained that night that they could each take Kamune in their army because the figure was only a unique in each army. I realized at that moment of finding the Kamune why I lost the argument of "No we can't," "Yes you can." I had thought that knowing the rules would simplify things, but I found out not.
I had a **Dwarven Mounted Fuser glued to my dashboard for about 6 months. He had been nearly melted, frozed, broken off base by neighbor kids, and lived through 2 car accidents. His colors have changed a bit when I compare him with another DMF. Pretty cool.
Wood Golem. The only thing that bulk of plastic can do is survive blows. Mine have had books dropped on them, gone through washing machines, been stepped on, etc, and still survived. If only they were that tough in the game. If only....
