I ran across a friend who has access to a couple of boxes of Mage Knight cards and wanted to know if I wanted them.

Can I get some info on how good they were? Was it any fun?
Also, if by chance I do get a Mounted High Elf General card, is it still even redeemable?

The MEG card is, I believe, 1 in every 96 packs. So assuming perfect distribution (pause for all and sundry to guffaw loudly), :) you should get one redemption card per four boxes.

The cards, by the way, are just cards. They aren't in themselves a ccg.

If you are patient on eBay you can get a MEG for around $80-100 so I would not spend any more than like $10-15 per box if all you are really looking for is the MEG and not interested in the cards.
