Living Ballista The Living Ballista's blend of Toughness and a high defensive rating makes this a hard Artillery Piece to knock down. Though plodding in speed, its ability to inflict four clicks of damage - with Pierce - makes this war machine useful during the heart of any siege. Its attack skill is a bit low, so it's not terribly accurate, but it can devastate what it hits. Unlike other artillery titans, this figure cannot make an indirect fire attack, so you'll have to get close and have an open line of fire to be effective. In Conquest games, don't forget to move before the shot to give you that extra range.
Stonethrower The Stonethrower's 17 Defense and Battle Armor gives it great protection against missile fire, while its constant, deadly barrage really hits the enemy where it hurts. Use indirect fire to lob boulders at enemy Titans and Castles up to 24" away, then watch as the rain of rocks wipes out those pesky special abilities. With a starting capability to do four clicks of damage, Light Stonethrowers are a great buy. Remember to protect them against enemy incursions, as a force of skirmishers can quickly neutralize their abilities.
Mortar With a 28" indirect-fire Explosive attack, a series of Mortars can wipe enemy formations off the map before they have a chance to get close. While the Mortars only do limited damage when firing an indirect attack, they should be able to wipe out many of the special abilities from enemy attackers and commanders. This will leave your regular forces at an advantage during the "mopping up" phase, provided you focus your warriors on annihilating enemy figures with the Magic Healing or Necromancy special abilities.
Cannon A great Artillery Piece with a limited lifespan, the Cannon hits enemy formations hard with a barrage of black powder-filled Explosive shells. Primarily a defensive piece, the Cannon is slow moving and expensive - but lethal to any enemy Titan that gets within its 20" indirect fire range. Keep this gun at the back of your ranks, and pulverize the enemy when they get into range. By the time the enemy's slow-moving heavy-hitters get close enough to do anything about your Cannon, you should already have a sizable advantage over the walking wounded.
it says that they can firer almostall ofthem 20'' but on my figers it says the hiest being 14. how can they fier 20''?
Well, Titans can also (in many cases) move and attack in the same turn. This gives them a longer "effective engagement range" than normal figures. For example, even though the Ballista only has a range of 8", it can actually hit something 14" away in one movement.
And yes, against large figures, the Titans can double their range on top of that.
