Alright, here goes, my first tournament is in about a month, here is my army as of now, I would appreciate any help or suggestions, cause i am sure you guys will help me make it past the first round.
KI formation
* Infantry captain
***E@A
**E@A
EL formation
2x *** Woodland Snipers
*** Elven Demi Magus
OR formation
* Launcher
* Goblin Volunteer
*** Shaman
With the points saved, try to improve your KI formation, as a signifigant improvement I would put in at least a heavy lancer or heavy cav, but any of the mounted KI should help in this situation. Use the melee formation as a means to protect the sniper formation from harassment. You'll get more specific help from other people, but this is a good start to help getting you thinking of new ideas.
alright, how about dropping the entire orc formation, and adding a weak eleven demimagus, then a probably a **heavy lancer, haven't checked point totals
if you have the 7-10 points you may want to try and add an elven recruit to your KI formation, it would help as a bonus to your close attack formation if you used them to swarm a figure and its really cheap. Or adding two more E@A would be good too for a nice swarm formation. The infantry captain is nice because he can hold his own in a fight, but the cheaper force march figure might allow you to fit in another E@A perhaps.
well i don't normally rate armies mainly cuz i am to lazy to go to that fourm where this one should be but here we go... first off your army is to spread out and could easliy be smashed by simply killing off one of the figures in each formation and already your in a tight spot from somthin with bound... so what i would do to remedy this is stick with the swarm theme and lose the snipers, demi and the launcher for some more E@A and half-trolls or vica versa and go with some range ... and one last thing i would lose the shaman for some warrior sprites because you will rarlely get the chance to heal somthing because the opponet will quickly try to base with it or the target b4 you heal

Anyway, my last idea was over by a lot, how about removing launcher and Goblin Volunteer, adding a * light cavalier or lancer replacing the *** shaman with a * shaman, that leaves me 5pts. so with that I was thinking either upgrade a sniper to * troll arty or throw in an imp. I got another idea for the extra 5 pts. change the infantry captain for a ** Standard bearer and add a ** Eleven recruit.
Any suggestions?
And if anybody has ideas for positioning terrain, I would appreciate hearing them, I have an idea, but I usually don't play with terrain. So it is a little hazy for me.
