Just wondering..if you kill an opponents warrior with command, does that decrease the turns he/she has per turn, or just the chances of getting more? How does it apply for both normal Mage Knight, and Conquest?
In Rebellion at the start of your turn you roll 1D6 for each figure in your army with command, on a roll of 6 you gain an additional turn.
In Conquest you gain 1 extra action as long as you have at least 1 figure in your army with command. So if you have Paladin Prince, Magus and Taskmaster you gain 1 free action and from there its just like Rebellion, you roll 1D6 at the start of your turn for each figure with command and on a 6 you get the extra action. So with those 3 command figures its possible to get 4 extra actions in Conquest.
Now as long as 1 of those figures is alive you still get the free action and get to roll for one. Once all 3 lose command then that free action is no longer there. So its usually a good idea to keep at least one back so they don't get hurt.
Assassin, you'll definetly pull some big actions, figure 2000pts, thats 5 actions +1 for a Command figure.
So sitting on 6 actions.
Now at 25pts each you can get a Formation of Commanders for 150pts. That'll give you on average 1 extra action per turn. So now 7 actions every turn, toss out another 6 for another 150 and your looking at 8 every turn.
Now its not guaranteed but with 12 Commanders odds are you'll get the two 6's a turn and still have 1700pts for your army.
You'll need to be carefull and make those extra actions count otherwise the point difference could take you down.
11-15 actions, that'll be a bit much unless you roll really well or have a huge % of your army as Brass Commanders.
