How would you make a 4000 point BPR army?

How would you make a 4000 point A.G. army?

You could use anything.

A lots of Steam and Blade golems.......and some Ammotep gunners too.......

but sure I'll bite. and while you could use anything I wouldnt be caught dead with a dwarven berserker or Iron lung in either of my armies ;). Fist of Tezla's Steam Behemoth's and IRHG would be a must. Swarms of fighting automatons, Wrath Golems, Steam Golems. cannons and mortars that sort of thing.

I think that bpr would dominate such a scenario. With steamers, the tank, two siege weapons and the IRHG it could crush ag. Give it some melee in the from of tons of dwarven bezerkers (lousy as they are) back it up wi sheild maidens and leech medics and some amazon mancachers and you could dominate. You could also through in an Amzon Queen and a Stomper.

wow! huge army, does anyone play 4000 points though?

4,000 points?

as in 40 activations a turn?

wow.. I can just picture killing an IRHG on first turn by flinging a couple of Rammers on first turn and pinging it to death. and would still would have plenty of activations to do whatever else you wanted.

I'm thinking a pair of GFD's and a pair of RLD's would be a must.

AG has this won easily. BPR can't outrange them. A lot of flame lighting will devoure formations. Stormie will pound them into submition.

I whould use a lot of range. troll gunners and amotep gunners. Stormie and the magestone drac will have there places too. I whould include so automatons and utems along with blade golems. the bpr whould just get wrecked.

oh ye of little knowledge. have we forgotten aboutall the goodies that BPR have? Outranged doesn't always mean outgunned just ask anyone whose ever played with an IRHG

I think the usability of almost all the atlantis uniques gives them the slight edge. Both factions have very playable nons, Amotep gunners, ESA's, blade golems, fighting automatuns, and FOT for a tank on the Atlantean side; steamers, steamers, snipers, steamers, fusers, steamers, and the tank for BPR... stomper is the only classic BPR unique, while Atlantis has several... it would be close though

Yeah i agree the IRHG is a huge threat. But formations of gunners can take it down. All im saying is AG has a huge advantage and could easily take the field.

also, the BPR have their metagame wrecker;) Amazon Drac.

(i hate the amazon, and i really don't consider it a metagame wrecker, but it has hurt it...)

42up, don't tell me you are making a BPR army. What about your fighting automations and blade golems? Don't be tempted by the dark side. ;) Actually your army looks like it would be real fun to play. I would love to watch you and Needlejr in an BPR vs. Atlantis showdown.
