Well, with all of the giant ranged guys out there, I decided to focus on the non-ranged figures that make MK so great.

I haven't really play tested it, and I know that Amazon Drac armies would toast it (so don't even bother saying that it will), but I was curious about what you guys thought of it.

But just make sure you get in and hit hard. will do well agaisnt other melee type armies except maybe charge heavy as they will get first pop usually.

See if you can somehow fit in a technomancer to get your troops in faster. This will take the battle to the opponents. You MIGHT be able to take out a Amazon Draconum army if you use a techno. JUst a question, what terrain are you going to use?

I suggest blocking. But since I do not see a lot of flight (I don't remember if the drones have flight or not) you may not want to go with blocking. Just a thought.

The biggest drawback I see is no way to really get up close with the opponent with out taking losses. With no movement greater than 10, Things that outrange you can really hurt your guys before they can get close enough to be effective.

Range can be a problem, but if I face an army without an Amazon Drac in it, the drones have 17 defense with battle armor. Plus the Gate Lord has 17 defense with invulnerability. 19 defense for most of the guys is usually hard to hit. Plus if I send the Gate Lord up first, I can have the Channeler about 12 inches away, so if he does get shot, I can heal and then base.

And Cowkrugg, the drones don't have flight, Sovalis does, but it wouldn't matter since you can't use flight in formation.
